Very nice. However, when it hits the water, it will poof out again. Though the pike I know will just hit it harder. Not really a deceiver though, but it will deceive the fish.

Although a couple more steps, they go quickly once you get it. Plus to have a fly that doesn’t foul makes it worth it!

Hey Thomas, this pattern has been tested with other brushes/chenille. As the Palmering Chenille is a new product, we haven't swam this pattern using this brush/chenille, but it works great with other brushes/chenille. This is simply a slightly different spin on another pattern👍

Hi - Help! Your opinion, could I use a UV resin to seal a rod guide wrap for a build instead of the traditional two-part epoxy? What do you think? Cheers
@JerrodPotter5 ай бұрын
You say that the TRU zipper slides easily. I disagree. It does not slide easily. In fact you have to pull very hard to close it, especially when you're wearing it, it's very awkward to try and close it. Also, the net is not the easiest to get at. You've got to work pretty hard at it. I'll contact Fishpond to figure out how to get the zipper to close easier. Thank you for the video.
@allpointsfly2 ай бұрын
Hi Jarrod, have you tried using the Tru-Zip lubricant that comes with the pack? I find that really helps if the zipper gets sticky!

Too bad they completely forgot to update the strap by putting a spot for hemos like they did on all other packs.

I'm more than a newbie so this can be a stupid question but, what is the difference between hollow and fake hollow? I can't see it in the procedure 😅 Thanks for sharing, very cool video!
@allpointsfly8 ай бұрын
Good question Alfredo. When tying a “fake hollow” you’ll see that the technique includes actually tying back on top of the material (bucktail) and pinching it down after it’s been pulled back. Where as with a normal “hollow tie” the technique is to simply build up thread in front of it and push it backwards (not tying directly on top of the bucktail). Let us know if you have any other questions!

Hey Keith! Yes I probably should have. However the pack is very adjustable and just sit/ride in various points of your back depending on your preferences. It is very easy to adjust and can be done so while wearing it/fishing!
