Looking to install this same system on my 6.6 L8T. Are you still happy with it? How is the drone when driving? Is it too loud or droning when towing?

Any issue with getting the intermediate inlet to line up with the outlet side leading to the exhaust tip. Seems like the stock muffler inlet is quite a bit lower than the outlet.

@nemoyuno16272 жыл бұрын
I have a 620 with a near new points dizzy, but I run it through a Ford TFI ignition module. If the + signal comes from points it doesn't matter. No condenser or ballast resister and a 2 ohm coil makes for a hot spark. Known among hot rodders for quite some time.

if the alternator is not charging it could be a bad alternator. as long as the alternator is connected to the battery or main starter wire the starter it would charge the system, if the alternator is a good alternator

@@richardadams3909 they come with their own sensors to use. I would not try and use the stock sensors. every sensor has its own Ohm readings that reads to a specific sensor. As I am not sure the stock sensor readings vs what the gauges will read. It may read, but it may be very inaccurate.

Nice video. I have a 1979 datsun 620 and I can't find a new or used electronic distributor Would this set work in my car?
@pickettscorner52923 жыл бұрын
It should. the best way to know is to pull the distributor and take the measurements Hot Spark has displayed on their website. that being said. you may have to very slightly modify the hole that holds the distributor down. nothing a Dremel Can't modify. This is a very great alternative for the stock distributor. and Cheaper that used ones out there.
