ST JOHN CHOIR SCHOLA

St John Choir Schola, located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, is an exceptional choral and classical academic program for Grades 1 through 12, designed for homeschool families and grounded in the Catholic, Classical and Choral traditions. SJCS respects the role of parents as their children's primary educator and the role of the family as society's most important institution. The excellence of our program reflects our confidence that faith, classical principles and beautiful music have an unparalleled formative impact on the healthy development of children. Although there are no auditions, all SJCS students participate in the choral program. Our choirs sing at public First Friday Masses in our Diocese in devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and we sing a Nine Lessons & Carols service on Gaudete Sunday, and a Lenten Tenebrae service on Palm Sunday.
