Now this is a review ive enjoyed for this saber, with the actual details that most other channels missed. Maybe because the early folks got them for free as most of them didnt even credit Starkiller 🤔 Anyways Thanks for doing this and for the extra detail 😊

Competition to the MK1?
@halliwaxbasementbuilds2 күн бұрын
I don’t believe in competition in this community, Roman is a very good friend of mine. This is just TXQs version, starkiller designed a model, txq made some tweaks and launched it

Hey Jedi Master Halliwax, say I want to completely remove the weathering. What would you suggest?

Depends on which version you get. Different finishes require different plans of attack ;)

I was so mad with the timing of this saber, it took me months to decide to pull the trigger on the bobf Mando luke saber because I was debating on v2'ing it then a month after I bought the bobf/maando saber this v2 started popping up everywhere the sold txq sabers for about a hundred bucks less than what I paid for the hero version and looks good as hell... man I was pissed!😂

Is this hilt mainly more of a V3 hilt? I know it can be used as a V2, V3, etc? But is it basically more of a V3 hilt and the pommel is more of a V3 pommel correct? So if I wanted a V2 look I would need to swap the V3 pommel with the DSv2 pommel correct?
@halliwaxbasementbuildsАй бұрын
You could swap them out, but you could make a v2 pommel out of this with out a problem

okay it’s just my main concern is that this hilt is meant for V3 and not for V2

Furst of I really enjoy your channel. You light sabers are phenomenal. This base looks absolutely beautiful. I just recently found out this piece of gistory even existed. I came across your video while doing research for my first training remote build. Which will also be my first real build of this type. Once I've accumulate all the parts. Unfortunately I missed out on one of these amazing hand built art pieces. Im am hoping to take a shot at making one for myself. I dont have access to the tools or the knowledge he does, but I think I can at least make something close. Ive found most of the off the shelf parts. (Again no where near the quality of those made here) I've even found a motor, but not sure what the plug is. Is that a piece of information that can be disclosed. Or is that something that is being held back. If so. I understand, but I was curious.

What does the pro stand for in the new SNV4? Is it a TXQ programed proffie?

SNV4-Pro uses Proffie code for the blade hum. You can copy an paste Proffie code into the Advanced Editor and upload to the saber via Bluetooth. I wrote my own SNV4-Pro code for Baylan and Shin that changes hues of reddish-orange.
