The second launch is very powerful on Maverick at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio! You can feel your body get pushed back in the seat very quickly! I was very surprised to feel the acceleration on the ride inside the tunnel. If your outside of the ride you can hear the big boom as the ride accelerates to 70 MPH very quickly!

There are a lot of similarities between this ride and the Indiana Jones rollercoaster ride in some Disneyland park overseas. Wonder if it’s the same company that made both?

They were built by different companies, but the Indiana Jones layout design was bought from the same company that designed layouts such as these. Really interesting story if you look into it.

In terms of rides at the park this is my second favourite. Millennium Force is my favourite ride. Unfortunately I can’t count Top Thrill 2 since we have no idea when it’s coming out and what exactly they are doing to it. Hopefully it’s open next season

Just got on this for the first time today. Back row last seat. 1.5 hr wait but maaaan... Wow. I've never floated like that for so long so many times on any other coaster ever.

It could definitely be scary, if you aren't afraid of the height, id try out Millineum Force first as that drop feels kind of similar.

The Trains are going to travel a bit faster next year when the new Cable Lift Motor is installed. I rode the original Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain back in the 80' when the Coaster operated with The Single Buzzer Lap Bar PTC Trains, aka Screemy Meemy Version in National Lampoon's Vacation. I actually got rides on Colossus during that time when the Chain Lift Motor didn't slow The Trains at the top. Believe me, The Trains went around that 1st 180° left turn faster, and the Airtime was stronger.🎢🎢⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐‼️🖤❤️
