I watch this video since day 1 it released. Now it's been 7 years

I'm 28 year old now. My friend showed me this film when I was 19. And then, I lost myself in the world of studio ghibli and animes just like chihiro lost herself in the spirit world. I don't have that friend in my life anymore. He was a good friend. This music reminds me of memories we had together watching animes. I hardly watch animes anymore. Now that I have come out of world animes, I wonder if I have lost him just like Chihiro lost Haku.

This just reminds me everytime how much i loved playing piano. I might as well just come here daily just to have this feeling of love… damn i should just pull the anxsley card lol

This is such a masterpiece. Im a huge fan of ghibli for like 4 years but this was my first time watching spirited away recently and I can’t describe the feeling of realising that this masterpiece that I’ve been listening on Spotify all this time is from Ghibli

This soundtrack is just beautiful like the movie. If you are reading this and have a harsh time, I wanted to say that I stay with you. You, who is reading this, deserve to be loved, to have a person, who understands you, supports you, loves you unconditionally. You deserve to live, no matter what other people say. You deserve to be happy, no matter, what other people say. You have the right to cry, no matter, what other people say. Never feel useless. Never. Last weekend, I went walking in Higashi-Koganei, Tokyo. Coincidentally, there was a building called Studio Ghibli, and I bought a canned coffee from the vending machine in front of the studio (I often drink it when nothing good happens at work). As I walked a little further north, I found a place that was completely dark even though it was daytime. As we continued down the path and into the trees, we found a cozy looking wooden house that looked like it had been left behind on purpose. Music was playing from the house, and two people were relaxing on the bench in front of the house: a cheerful-looking old man wearing an apron, and a slightly smaller old man next to him. Please forever.

I have lost myself...

Ghibli is beautiful

It's been a month or so that I felt like I've been slowly losing my friend. My dearest friend I've ever had, or probably will have. Things were just so easy with him. Easy to talk, easy to forget about everything in life. But he felt like I didn't care about him as much as he cared about me because I have way more people in my life while he has only a few. I've never once neglected him, but I can understand why he felt like that. He must've felt so lonely. I tried too hard to be there for everyone, only to end up losing the one I always thought as my constant. Now he says he doesn't care as much, he's gone through some changes, we've grown distant. He's got someone in his life now who cares only for him, unlike me, who has too many strings attached. He hasn't been this happy in a long while. I'm happy for him. I wish things didn't change between us, but it's already changed so much. And I know it will never be the same again. I'm accepting it all now. The memories of our best days will always make me smile with a bit of longing. Whether I'm part of his life or not, I wish that he's happy, safe, and healthy. I will still be there for you, my friend. I will never give up on our friendship. No matter how much we change, no matter how much the friendship changes, I hope it doesn't fade into oblivion.

hayao miyazaki's films absolutely feel like a dream, the beautiful good kind that leave you misty eyed and nostalgic when you wake up in the morning. just wishing you could go back to sleep and return to that dream again.

I am not the typical anime viewer. The only anime I had ever watched properly was Dragon Ball, well until our literature teacher decided it was good for us to watch Spirited Away in the class. Turns out he wasn't wrong. We could only complete half the movie that day but I completed it the next day. If I am being honest, in this chaotic life, this song, this movie reminds me to be human, again and again. It reminds me of those merry days when I a mere child, those days when life used o be simple. Well I'm not suggesting life's gotten worse but it certainly is a lot faster now. Thank you Japan for this masterpiece!
