7:00, MBTX 2034 right before its accident. I think it was the result of hitting a tree. In early summer of 2023, Rail Spike Productions uploaded a video called “Rare MBTA Commuter Trains and Extras on the North and South Sides - Early Summer 2023” and one of the clips showed 2034 double heading with 1133 on the Newburyport/Rockport Line cab car was CTC-3 1522 leaving ipswich on 6/19/2023. The front engine had just came back into service after being out of service for ages as its front was rebuilt at BET. This was due to a potential mechanical failure in the 2034 because of it not running for a long time. The cursed and noseless HSP. It’s nose is still blank. When employees/workers at BET finished rebuilding the 2034, they forgot to put the front T decal on its nose back on. zostrelling_ uploaded a video on July 18, 2023 featuring hsp 2034 with f40 1068 as a doubleheader shoving an inbound out of wyoming on the haverhill line. Late Keolis train 211 met the doubleheader going outbound with gp40 1123 leading. But, why did 2034 not have its front “T” decal and this was back in 2021 before its accident? That’s weird. 🤔
