This place has changed its layout so much since back in the day! I’m not sure which is better though but it’s the same classic Dade City soil. Back in the mid-90s I used to take TP 199 with me to go ride here in the evening under the lights. I also remember it being RC’s very first race on a 125 and 250. Yes, he won.

Reminds me of the old (pre-Sponsor Cup) Open Money class with Kenny Yoho, Ronnie Renner, Ricky Hampshire (RJ's father), Billy Wood, Vince Devane, Anthony Poccorobba, Tim Ferry, Ronnie Tichenor and all the rest that made everyone gather at the fence and watch the fast guys on Saturday nights. I know these guys are faster, on better equipment, but man, a gate full of local A-Riders on 2 strokes was a sight, and sound to behold! Heres a moto of Open Money at Dade City on Sept 4 1999.
