Great job, finally a woodworking project that didn't use a 10k+ machine park. It still looks better, but also much closer to something that could have come out of my own garage 🙂

Thank you so much for sharing your Bilateral TMJ replacement journey! I'm about to undergo this surgery, with a LeFort Maxillary advancement in the same operation. I'm pretty nervous about the recovery, the pain, the eating and talking, etc. If you don't mind me asking - what was your indication for the joint surgery? Were you ever wired shut? I'm assuming not, since you don't have braces on
@starkissedvixen10 күн бұрын
Thanks for your question. I hope your surgery goes well! These videos are a little old, so I'm not sure if I cover it in more detail in another video, but I was not wired shut. I had severe joint pain, arthritis, and clicking. I spent about 2 years trying non-invasive options, but it continued to worsen to the point that it hurt to eat solid foods, smile, and talk, so I ended up opting for surgery and it was the best decision I ever made.
@EvaLastaАй бұрын
Why did you do this surgery without getting your jaws moved forward too? You are severely recessed and that is probably the biggest contributing factor to your TMJ, it is for me.
@starkissedvixen10 күн бұрын
I'm sorry to hear that you're also having a similar issue! My jaw was moved forward during the surgery - the prosthetics were designed in a way to bring it forward too. Although, I lost forward and backward jaw movement, which might be where the miscommunication has occurred. I had twin block plates as a child which brought my jaw forward, but over time it recessed again and was definitely a contributing factor, but we're unsure if it was the whole cause of the issue.

when i used to use purigen in those preset bags they would last maybe one regeneration cycle before developing holes and leaking the purigen balls out. wish they made the bags a lot stronger.

I've been dealing with pretty much this same exact issue in my jaw for 11 years now. (I'm 32) None of the doctors around here I talked to could offer any explanation or help, so that's been very discouraging. for the past 5 or 6 years now I kind of just accepted that i'll just live in pain and that nothing can fix it, I'm literally holding an ice pack on my ear while typing this lol. Ugh. I'm really tired of this. Watching your videos on this and trying to do some more research to see if maybe something *can* be done.

Hii, just found your channel. Its so amazing you have shared this journey with us, thank you 🙏🏼 Im curious though, watching you chew that crunchy toast, what were the symptoms of the jaw dysfunction? I ask because I have TMJ (non-reducing disc displacement) And i definitely couldnt eat that crunchy toast, I had a hard time earlier eating a piece of melon 😂 but, i’m only getting an arthroscopy…

You can get UV curing waxes for 3D resin printing. That way you can just do lost wax casting and not have to worry about taking the print out of the mold before pouring.

Thank you for this video. I believe I am at the beginning stages of my TMJ pain bugging me on a consistent basis. My dentist recommended me getting braces, but would you recommend talking with doctors first before going the orthodontic route? Right now it feels like my jaw muscles are always sore, my jaw clicks if I go side to side too much, and sometimes it’s hard to open my mouth wide. I got my wisdom teeth pulled two years ago and honestly my jaw never felt the same since.

You would get better results, too, if you used something that would allow you to pour continuously until the pewter tops offer, which allow the weight and even heat distribution and cooling to create a smoother, more uniform casting.

Do you think charging the water through the windows instead of outside makes it as powerful? I feel like I can’t always see the moon from my windows in my apartment but I’m afraid to leave my jars outside to be stolen?

I've always preferred charging it through windows to keep it clean and haven't noticed a difference. Even if you can't see the moon, the ambient energies are still present 💕
