Songs can start on any key. Your version would need a B flat (black key) at the end, which some find harder to play.

Are you looking at sheet music from my site, or somewhere else? Sometimes people use A minor chords, instead of C Major, to give it a more dramatic (less happy) sound.

I would play two quick "B" notes for the first 2 syllables and the "A" for the 3rd syllable.
