Thank you for your video. I have picked up 3 bottles of 2012. This is separate inquiry I am writing this message as i need your guidance and your advice in purchasing champagne. I am new to this hobby and planning to buy wine and champagnes as enjoyment for future drinking and investment. I am based in Canada Toronto and the store called LCBO is offering Dom Perignon P2 2004 at the price of $652 and P2 Rose 2000 at the price of $1900. Question: 1) do you think these vintages are highly sought after? 2) are they good for long term holdings 20-30 years? 3) are the champagnes priced reasonably in your opinion?

Thank you for your video. I bought 1 case of 2019 lafite Do you recommend to buy 2022? Feels abit expensive. In Canada Ontario bordeaux futures lafite 2022 price is $1475. Your insight would be recommended Thank you

Thanks Steven. The new 2022 sold very well en primeur, and clearly that is a vintage collectors are going to want. But at current prices, the 2019 looks better value to us. The nailed on 100pts WA makes a big difference, and it is three years younger. If the 2019 moves up in price, and the 2020 too, then the 2022 could become the most attractive vintage. But it isn't right now.

I don't know how old you are, but the good news is that (according to Wine Advocate) this wine will be drinking well until 2068. So it has tremendous potential as either and investment or as a drinking proposition. It is only a baby right now.

@@B.H90 No reason to think the cork won't last. But you can always get the bottle re-corked in the future.

Even that, will it devalue the bottle slightly? Either way, I will look for this bottle. Your channel deserves a lot more views
