I’m not a fan of General Motors as a company becuase of how they handle their business and their lacking in customer care and service. However! I did buy a 2024 Colorado WT to meet my work and family needs on somewhat of a budget. I personally think as far as looks go, this trucks knocks it out of the park. Build quality, so far is pretty good! It’s a solid truck. The ride and handling are great both in town, in a field and on the highway! The turning radius is phenomenal in 2wd. The ground clearance is a major plus, because after all, ITS A TRUCK! And as such, I don’t need a bunch of higher grade soft touch materials. So far with 1100 miles on it I maintain 21.5 mpg, which isn’t terrible. My kids have plenty of room in the back for road trips and on our 8 hour round trip, none of us were fatigued by the truck. I enjoyed the drive actually. My o oh complaint is with some quirks in the infotainment system and its handoff with wireless (and wired) CarPlay to other phones. The wifi works well though! This video is irresponsible. Do your research and have factual evidence before you slam a vehicle like this.

Us truck guys look at power train first and foremost. Nobody wants a turbo charged 4 banger or 6cyl in their truck. This is where the other makers have made a major mistake. The frontier has enough new tech to make it nice to use, but keeps a lot of tried and true tech to keep it simple. Nissan has a real opportunity here to take a huge chunk of the mid size truck market.

We prefer the Tacoma for three reasons. 1. Electric power steering. 2. More service availability. 3. Comfort for long distance interstate driving. NOTE: We do not care about price. We care about reliability, sustainability, and maintainability. Above all, we want to have a comfortable drive at 80 mph on the interstate. We are old and like to travel for vacation.

Good luck working on these trucks in your backyard sometimes simpler is better.

No one buys a truck for its smooth ride, that is what luxury cars are for.

Even before I started seeing the various reports on the 24 model, I vowed I would never buy another. I have had so many disappointments on the previous 2016 models. Mine is a 17. Poor visibility over the higher hood height when off roading ( seat and roof height remained the same old low height) , throttle and six speed trans coordinate poorly with gas pedal action, towing capacity dropped from previous models bigger powered V6 and lastly, I tent camp a lot alone and I set in the drivers seat many an hour having some beers listening to the dash radio and to keep the screen glare off you have to fish through a four sequence process to blank it out and then you have to use the interior light to reconnect to other functions!

I’ve had my Frontier now for 2-months, I like it! I came out of a Colorado because they no longer offer a 6’ box… this was critical for me. I gotta say though, the lack of rear bumper steps is killing me! I cannot believe such a great idea is not considered in this design. Finding optional equipment features on this long-box was impossible!

My Altima with a 4 speed has 501k on the clock. Original QR25 and 4 speed auto. Wouldn’t touch anymore Nissans with a cvt though. They are garbage
