Not a very good review. Was hoping to see the insides to see if they went back to the "old" way Zebco made the 202 which was totally awesome and it made for a great beginner reel. THey changed the gearing and arrangement inside the reel - I suspect when I think it was Brunswick that purchased the company - and turned it into a piece of junk. If you attempted to reel in your line with the reel inverted, you almost instantly got a bird's nest. THe original 202 had a check that would stop you reeling in line until you put the reel upright and it was built much tougher by Zebco. The all plastic "new" model wasn't so good. It was actually horrible. I sent it back to Zebco and they sent me 2 new reels....which did the same thing and I told them in a letter to change it back or they're going to have a lot of kids disappointed and frustrated trying to learn how to fish. Never bought one after that.

the 202s i had when i was a kid in the 80's had ally foots and plastic bodys and the ones i had in the late 80s started using the entire plastic bodys and were made in new jersy there great fishing rods witt bait good video dude
