Could've specified which alcohol that is (probably isopropyl alcohol btw). And no need to waste it that much, pour a little on a tiny recipient like a bottle lid (not the one from the alcohol bottle) and use it from there with a piece of cotton or something. Also avoid touching it with bare hands, specially if you'll be using it with some regularity or if your hand is wounded in any way.

I just drained the “oil” on my mates Mercedes Vito. He’d been filling it up with 2 KETTLES A WEEK 😂. What I drained out looked like Grey paint. I don’t know how it’s still running or how long it’s going to last but she runs 😂. Possibly just a bad PCV that is definitely clogged now. I can’t hear if it has rod knock or any roughness, but that may because the engine mounts are completely shot, and the Auxiliary belt idle is shaking itself to death, the thing is covered in oil because it was displaced via the dipstick due to it being overfilled with about 20 litre of water. It blows a little white/blueish smoke which isn’t a surprise but only passed 2k RPM, those engines are tanks 😂. Also filled her back up with engine oil flush and going to drain it again after he gives it a week of nonstop driving.
