Coming back to this, it's clear Daigo let him win. I wasnt as big into SF when this first occurred, but now that i am and pretty decent at SF6, its clear as day that Daigo let him win. I honestly don't know how anyone can watch this and say that it was legitimate. Your average gold SFV player would beat Lupe. Lupe isnt a scrub, but he's not that good either. He plays like a jump happy flowchart Ken. There were so many times he should have been punished but wasnt. Lots of missed inputs, lots of jump ins that were telegraphed and not punished, lots of whiffed grabs, lots of hail mary DPs, and lots of wake up DPs. It was entertaining and good for the FGC though...
