Even though it seems that they’re weren’t entirely being serious, this is one of the better acappella covers of this song on KZbin. They showcase everyone and not just the lead. All the other videos, the lead drowns out the background singers which are supposed to set the tone

I just wish the lyric was changed to “bless the college of our parents” because it’s not all men anymore. A fight I’ve been losing since I first matriculated fall of 1994. 8 years and 3 degrees later (BA, MPP, JD) it wasn’t changed. 25 years as an alumnae and it hasn’t changed. A woman can still have hope! 💜💜💜
