Do you know? Seven years later, Eddie Butler, 1/4 of Eden, went on to represent Israel in Eurovision 2006, and became the first African-American to represent Israel in Eurovision. I got this fact from Wikipedia.

I was non existent when this was performed and grew up with this song on every birthday not knowing this was a Eurovision entry. We got 5th with this apparently.

Boy Band name is Eden represent Host nation in 1999 in Eurovision and following year 2000, a black Israeli woman named "Eden" was born and she will represent Israel in 2020 (which is cancelled) and 2021 on Dutch soil. 🇮🇱 Douze Points! Update: There is an another Eden woman with the surname ‘Golan’ who was Russo-Ukrainian roots will represent Israel in 2024 on Swedish soil.
