You can cut a piece of thick flat cardboard, place it in that area and it won't cut the intricate cuts. I've gotten some dies similar to yours. I will be doing the same. Thank you

Hello: Gloria I made this doll, she turned out great. She is a nice size doll. I used cloth except for felt hair piece. She is really cute, my husband has sent pictures to others, he even said she looks great. I use Frabric for her shoes, I used ribbon for her hair, just went around twice and put in bows. I tacked her dress so my great granddaughter will not pull her dress off. Also I tacked her bows on shoes would not come off and her hair bows. I did her face fuller which really made her look great, thank you for sharing this pattern, now I am going to make four more. This one is for my great granddaughter for Christmas. I will even make one for myself. For keep sake. Again thank you. Your doll turned out great. These dolls are a keep sake and a blessing for any little girls. Thank you Rev. Deborah Moore.
