Had this as a kid. Loved it. When you didn't have many cartridges, this one was great because it's 3 games in 1. It was one of the first ones we had for the intellivision.

Biplanes was played a lot by the programmers and they had many tournaments. It’s not as easy as the other 2 games either lol.

Four games in one, that’s a nice combo. I think I’d have more fun with the Space and Submarine or Battleship game ( the box art shows a Battleship, but the graphics look more like a Submarine). Nothing wrong with the other two,I’m sure they are good too, I’d have to play them to find out.

@@emmajade9507 while there are several games they are the 1 screen mini games. I think mini games are fun. My son (he’s 11) and I played them all and he liked them as did I. I think it would be a cool homebrew idea to make a modern mini games homebrew. 🤷🏻♂️

Seeing this at a friends house blew me away. The only other baseball on the market at the time was the first Atari baseball game that looks so very crude put up next to this.

Bowling isnt easy to pick up and play on Intellivision. You have to learn how to play and practice. Even then it’s designed so you can’t easily score 300’s.

@@tomjarvis5918 I got an answer from David on why it doesn’t work: It would look great but gray is an extended color. The trench needs to be made up of the primary colors. It could be yellow and white but I do not think that would look good. Also, the ship color would have to change color. Probably red.

I bet, back then, this was received well by Intellivison's fans, especially after that Coleco Donkey Kong debacle. Coleco angered many with that DK release, including Mattel, fans, etc, and it appears Imagic knew it and took advantage with B&B, and proved that a Donkey Kong style game can indeed look and play terrific on an Intellivision - even long before the D2K Homebrew release decades later.

@@intellivisiongamer Actually, I believe it benefits your score even better when you take a plunge from the highest floor each time. You stay on the easier level this way with a loss of only one man that you can get back in maximum anyway. It's not cheating. It's actually more about having fun watching the guy fall down. Makes me laugh all the time.

Loved this game as a kid, and still a top 3 game for me 30 yrs later. Music is catchy, action is fast, and its just such a quirky game. I remember my friends and i getting all the way to the top, then jumping off the edge like it was yesterday. I don't think I've laughed so hard in my life. We couldn't stop laughing for like 10 minutes.

One thing that irritated me about the original Intellivision is that "light blue" was always a pink/lavender color. As a kid, I always wondered why the tanks moved the slowest in the "flower fields". Also, there was no way we as kids would have the patience to play through a whole 50-tank campaign, especially after we were put on heavy sanctions and could only play for one hour per week.

One of my top Intellivision favs! My Pops was always a huge history buff and when this game came out, it brought him much joy. As a young punk at the time, once I got tired of bombing runs I'd crash it into the ground just to hear the awesome voices and effects. Pops considered that blasphemous if he heard it from the next room and would come take the controller out of my hand like grabbing the stick to save the plane :-) Great memories. This game will always hold a special place in my heart.

That’s a great memory. This is the only Intellivoice game I had as a kid and loved it. I don’t remember my dad playing it. My parents didn’t play many games at all. I remember Astrosmash and poker & blackjack they did.

This is the game that caused me to avoid an Intelivision when I was younger. They had a Atari 2600, a Odyssey 2 and an Intelivision set up with their own TV at the local O'Neal store. I was there to buy an Atari game but saw the commercials for Intelivision so figured I would give it a try...well.....I was so used to the Atari joystick that looking at the INTV controller made my young brain hurt. There were no instructions so I didn't understand how it was used and couldn't control my tank at all, I was moving my finger in a circle and it was a mess lol. Now I know better but really wish I knew it back then , I would have given the Intelivision a fair shot.

This game was the biggest disappointment of many a childhood...it was so hyped up and we thought we were going to get a decent arcade port of Pacman on our home console the 2600 but instead we got this dud.

I was very young when Atari and Intv came out. I actually played the 2600 version before I ever played in an arcade. So I didn’t know any different lol.
