i mean... the way i see it... Harris is just a slight upgrade from Biden. not the person i want, but slightly better than the person we had. it is actually pretty helpful if trump ""gets stomped"" in a pure numbers sense. that will help to reduce the enthusiasm of republicans and other conservatives to push fascist ideology as their new party line.

I have been cohabitating with a covert narcissist for four years. I also work for her. Our personal and professional relationship is not working out. One of my issues with her is that she always owes me money. I told her that I want to discontinue our arrangement;therefore, I need to get my money so that I can find somewhere to rent. It’s been over two years now and I’m still here feeling stuck with her. I am living in Jamaica. Can you advise me on this matter please? Thanks. Keep up the good works.

Just remember, this was a work of Communist China's regime. There is a clear proof of how the video was first posted in KZbin and later on X(Twitter) by a CCP operative. Once on X it was picked up KZbinrs and Media looking for views for $. Of course, the CCP online army and their international shills went over drive to make this viral to discreet His Holiness as usual. Even some clueless celebrities started their virtue signaling without any knowledge of the video's back ground. This was not the first time CCP's malicious attack against His Holiness and won't be the last time. Now with the deep fake technology things will go out of control. Fortunately His Holiness never lost any sleep over this but it did hurt millions of his followers and for sure Tibetans. CCP even spread this video on the social media in mainland China and in Occupied Tibet where is picture is strictly banned but in this case they purposely let it in as their political weapon against His Holiness. Imagine the feelings of Tibetans in the occupied Tibet who revere him more than CCP which is the thorn in their eyes. Bottom line, we don't need to bring up whether it is Tibetan cultural or not instead we point finger at CCP for the malicious intent to discredit His Holiness.

This the dumbest idea you can think of. how about Ms Sasson volunteers to walk the streets at night, and take her punishment. Then, after she recovers from the violence and sexual violence, let's use 'restorative justice' techniques to forgive everyone ?? Just insane

1) At ~4 minutes the themes of this episode are mentioned: "collaboration versus competition, the use of humor to connect rather than to divide, learning about someone's background before going into certain situations [involving a student's behavior]" See #4 below. 2) At ~7 minutes, begins the topic of a T’s inferiority complex and self-esteem. Being able to tune out the noise, focus on being present. Do we center self-worth? Are we afraid to ask for help? Are we ok with the assumption that no one of us knows enough and that's why we all participate in ongoing professional learning? Advice heard at a later point is to invest in what will better your practice as a “critical consumer of pedagogy.” How do we regularly practice our teacher role as a researcher (of better practice)? 3) At ~10 minutes the phrase "toxic positivity" comes up (e.g., assertions or feel-good sayings on Lakeshore motivational poster decor). How do we differentiate between toxic positivity and positive affirmations? Also heard around that point, "Love is not enough for a healthy relationship... You need boundaries." What does that claim mean to you? 4) When the teacher Janine says to the student Courtney "I know you love ... [puzzles] as much as I do," it's critiqued as a poor method to connect. The point being that children are not blank slates to be told how they feel; the Ts stance needs to be, "What is it you (S) need?" Invite Student voice! Other than asking how children feel at different times of their day with us, how do we invite the voice of children to be heard in how their day goes? A way we value children's authenticity is by teachers also "showing up as who you are not trying to be someone else... to build trusting, authentic relationships." Amplify RJ's refrain is that we need to do the “building and strengthening [of relationships] to prevent future harm, and to have something to restore back to.“ 5) For children who play the disruptor… remember Woke Kindergarten: think about students as agents of change. And beware not to make assumptions about behavior, which can be for any number of reasons. It may be, as in Courtney's case, to keep self-stimulated due to what’s going on being too far below one’s cognitive level. (See Zaretta Hammond: Culturally Responsive Teaching, referred to several times. And this is what she writes about Teacher Mindsets that Undermine Culturally Responsive Teaching).

Consciousness about (the) power (dynamic) is requisite to work with children, and really with any people. Plenty of soul-searching and self-reflection needed on that... how were we taught & raised by those in authority roles... Yes, "build a world" also can be so that children are prepared to thrive amidst the range of power-wielding figures in the world. In other words, resistance and fighting evils such as racism require conscious non-compliance, and nurturing children's developing moral compass, their inner sense of justice and their attentiveness to it prepares them to be world builders with us.

1) At ~5 minutes it touches on teacher attitudes of welcoming versus resisting new 'approaches' (e.g., new methods/curriculum programs/resources/"doohickies"). Self-assess your own attitudes (e.g., self-talk, inner reactions) to being introduced to a teaching 'approach' you don't yet know very well. What helps you to push past your initial reaction of being either undiscriminating or dismissive? How do you know when to reassess its usefulness/efficacy in your teacher toolbox? Do you have an example/s of being surprised with a change of your mind - either direction: hopeful or not hopeful of its ultimate efficacy in your teacher toolbox? 2) At ~8 minutes catch David's reference to the TV show's school-to-prison pipeline theme - that the new mandated elementary reading program's purpose is to (sort and track to) collect data useful to calculate for future prison beds. As developing abolitionist teachers, do we question through that abolitionist lens not only what's mandated (in our case, through DSS/CCLD as our governing authority) but even more so: how accepted preschool practices from our experience actually exert hegemony over us? Any specific examples come to mind? 3) Beginning at ~9 minutes the topic arises of veteran and novice teachers and what they each bring to teamwork. How do you think Untitled has been doing to respect, honor, and welcome the participation in discussion/planning/decision-making of our team members, each with varying experiences and years in the teaching field? Our absence of hierarchy at Untitled brings with it challenges felt by at least some of us; keeping in mind that we are 'avant-garde' in this lack of job titles (e.g., lead or assistant teacher), and are trying to create a better "school" system from within, are we each open to accepting roles that offer more structure to our collaborative work such that we are all included but not equally responsible for all aspects of the teaching work being done? 4) At ~12 minutes the topic of "fundamentals" and "principles" of literacy learning comes up, which in our context is not necessarily narrowly or directly applicable to literacy. But do we nevertheless have "grounded" fundamentals, "routines", or principles that inform our teaching practice so we can be assured we are responsibly accountable for nurturing development of: not only the minimum - what's included in CA Learning Foundations domains, but also the critical thinking/problem-solving learning dispositions, and everything we do toward children's self-actualization? 5) At ~15 minutes accountability comes up and the example of a teacher admitting their mistake is highlighted as valuable to be heard and seen by students. Can we do this more at Untitled: model self-reflection in ways that we are neither secretive, ashamed to admit, nor too quickly dismissive of our own mistakes (i.e., what we wish we'd handled differently) so that colleagues and children alike can also gain courage through our example (being "vulnerable") to pause and think self-critically toward constructive growth and to "build authentic connections"? 6) At ~18 minutes professional growth and PD are topics, including observing fellow teachers, coaching. Remind our team, how do you like best to learn/grow? 7) At ~ 21 minutes see topic of Q1 from E3 re: partnering with people in the wider community with history/expertise from their professions to come as resources/assets. What do you think about the example in E4 of bringing in the police captain to speak with the class about his perspective on the historical event taught in class (union organizing)?
@lailataslimi9100 Жыл бұрын
for S1E3 here are the reflection question prompts we created for our preschool team at Untitled No. 1 School: 1) At ~10 minutes "strategic partnerships" comes up as a way to access Community beyond the school to bring what's needed to enrich the teaching and learning experience for teachers and children ("not to work in a silo"). Where/who might Untitled partner with as a regular practice and in our efforts specifically related to ABAR work and our abolitionist perspectives? 2) At ~16 minutes the topic of "deficits" and children themselves knowing/not knowing what (things) they don't have. How do we as teachers cultivate children's "creative energy, brilliance, care & kindness, ways they show up in the world" in generative ways, "giving radical care"? 3) At ~20 minutes the topic of activism and advocacy within and for our education field for equitable policies. What experience and exposure do we have that spurs us on to actively bring about greater educational justice and how are we acting on that conviction? 4) At ~23 minutes the theme of being the type of teacher one wants to be, and having that show in choices made in our esthetic/physical learning environment ("decoration mirrors the relationships we want to have with our students"). What of our teacher selves do we want to be visible here at Untitled (generally and also any specific example ideas)? 5) At ~32 minutes the topic of using finite planning time and allocating focused time, effort & resources on an activity/idea that is not integral to the larger goals of teachers' ("high impact") work "being a great teacher." How do we assess what needs "iterating" versus what's a time/effort drain with low impact?

I have said this the day one if his holiness only knew how dirty minded people can be specially in western world H Holiness would have said suck my nose instead. But then who knows some other part of world might take it sexually. H Holiness intentions were not sexually but just being playful that’s it….. nothing more nothing less. You people need to understand not every body takes suck my tongue sexually. We need to educate, understand and except each other.

Thank you to the both of you for having the courage to speak the truth . For the people on the Tibetan plateau in general and the Tibetans in particular, Dalai Lama is not just another human being in the worldly sense . For those of you who believe Jesus once upon a time walked this earth ; Dalai Lama is that Holy Spirit , a reincarnation of Avaloketishvara ; The Buddha of Compassion,, the Lord of Mercy to the Buddhists on the Tibetan plateau and beyond ; today . He is the most conspicuous reverend head of the Buddhists in today’s world. Therefore; do not think of us as brainwashed followers of the Dalai Lama as you weren’t then and aren’t now brainwashed followers of Jesus or Ram,or Krishna or Allah . We respect all faiths in all sincerity. We expect the same from others too.
