How does the ride quality compare for road driving (city, highway) and maintenance roads with this setup vs stock? I am looking for a more comfortable ride quality. Most I carry in the back are 2 bikes typically.

one of my parking sensors may have gone bad. Is there a squeeze tab where the parking sensor can just pop out for replacement?
@SimSez1

Just did this today for the 3” kit. FYI if you just disconnect the upper control arm from the spindle it will droop enough not to have to undo the tie rod ends and lower ball joint bolts or the LCA cam bolts. Those can stay connected. Your choice. I was replacing the UCAs anyway so I left the others attached.

Brother, love the set up! Not talking smack by any stretch. I’ve got a nature nest obviously similar to your product. Super happy with it thus far as folks would be with yours! I can’t tell by the video but the “NN” has stainless gas struts and the ball end at the skinny end/female broke off. I reached out to those folks and with only just over a yr’s use maybe 10-15 open and closes they offered to sell me new struts at nearly $200 each. Luckily I employed a fabricator recently at my diesel shop and he was able to tig weld em up and I didn’t have to replace them. Idk if yours has the same type struts but it would be a kick ass “update” for the product if so. Those jokers are a bastard to change/install esp when the tent is mounted on an expedition with a 4” lift. Message me back and I can email a couple pics if you like for your product.

Had the older 270. It’s very well built. Putting it back together is easy also. Trick is in the folding. Don’t roll it back up. Follow the manufacturer and how they fold e it by following the crease. Too bad you didn’t show the lighting. I didn’t like the old style one. It was a pain to screw the connectors together

Just installed this Ironman Raid Rear Bumper on my 2024 TRD Off-Road 4Runner. Man, does it look good! -- This video was my only guide (and it's immensely helpful!) but there are a few items I could have better understood going in... 1) I was very hesitant to lose my Blind Spot Monitoring so I looked for ways to keep the BSM sensors installed. Oddly enough, there was no physical requirement for the sensors to be removed as the 'corner caps' on the top plate of the bumper didn't impede them. They do overlap the bottom 1/3 of the sensor but I opted to roll the dice in leaving them as they were. And with a couple of highway trips now since installing, the sensors seem to be working without issue. 2) The video mentions that you can position/rotate the bumper angle at your own discretion. I opted to follow the video's advice in terms of lining up the bumper bar to be parallel to the line in the body clips... but in reality there is only one position/rotation that will put the very ends of the bar to be in line with the mud flaps! Once I'd installed everything and tried to put on the mud flaps I had a full inch of overhang past the mud flaps and so there was no way to cleanly reapply them. Only after I (re)oriented the bumper to ensure it would end up in line with the mud flaps and then recut the sides of the body panel to match this new line did everything line out. To me THIS is a critical check before tightening up the bumper. 3) Cut Template... I emailed customer service and was told there wasn't one and so I just went really slow and paper taped the heck out of my bumper so I could draw cut lines on the tape. No lie, I probably did 12 rounds of cutting in all but I am VERY happy with the fit and the look. -- Only now do I see that there is, in fact, a cut template on the Ironman website. :) Maybe that would have helped lower my rounds of cutting... who knows. Last note, is that I am looking to add a some "Edge Trim" to the cut line under the door. It's the only thing that bugs me a bit as my eye sees it every time I open the tailgate. // All that to say, this bumper looks great and the effort required to get it right has paid off. These kinds of mods are not ever going to be plug-and-play. An extra set of hands and the better part of a day is what you need to do it right!

What a terrible design for something that is designed for emergencies. Not only is it difficult to remove the battery, but the screws are of terrible quality and strip almost instantly, and the batteries are so obscure... Why not use standard 9V or AA batteries that are easily replaced by removing a cap that doesn't require a specialised screwdriver to remove???!!! Built in obsolescence at its best here.......
