Believe it or not, this was my senior prom. I can’t tell you how cool it is to have run across this. Brings back a lot of memories. And this recording is pretty damn good for 76 era technology nearly 50 years down the road.

The reel to reel for this particular show was given to me...by lou Anne kinnards Mom..she assured me that it did not belong to the band...it was done by her husband so I would like it returned to me... please and thank you..SK

Got to give props to Bill Spaulding who was with us on this gig and became our lead singer once Jr. left to play football in the pro ranks. Thanks Bill, you were and are, great.

This was DCI's best drum and bugle corps off of the field in 1981. Happy to have found you guys. Those were some good days.

Twice Grand Champions. National Champs! They beat everybody in all classes in competition. Band Director Bill Gravely and show writer Gordon Henderson were the best of the best.

So glad to be part of this group in 1981 from inception until finals in Montreal, and some of 1982. Bari bulge--no idea which one I am. I have pic. of us at Marion in July 1981 on Facebook with many members tagged. The above video was at Nippert Stadium at University of Cincinnati. The stadium is still there!
