Congrats Gordon! Much deserved. I remember what you once told me, 'It all started with Danville.' I was there and got to witness it first hand. It was an honor. I wish I could do it all over again...

Believe it or not, this was my senior prom. I can’t tell you how cool it is to have run across this. Brings back a lot of memories. And this recording is pretty damn good for 76 era technology nearly 50 years down the road.

I was the trumpet player in BW Cat and the one who made the recording. That Spring was probably our peak. The next year the lead singer left to play pro football and we had a hard time finding anyone else that good.

The reel to reel for this particular show was given to me...by lou Anne kinnards Mom..she assured me that it did not belong to the band...it was done by her husband so I would like it returned to me... please and thank you..SK

Anyone have a score list for this show? I'm interested in the ballad. I've heard it in another show and I'm curious of the title.

So glad to be part of this group in 1981 from inception until finals in Montreal, and some of 1982. Bari bulge--no idea which one I am. I have pic. of us at Marion in July 1981 on Facebook with many members tagged. The above video was at Nippert Stadium at University of Cincinnati. The stadium is still there! The surrounding buildings, not so much. ;) --David Tornheim
