With all the fraud and disadvantages of advantage plans I fell uncomfortable with these FEHB advantage plans that are starting to offer

There is a 4th option but not necessarily recommended for everyone. Especially, FEHB members with families or spouses. Anyway, option 4- Get medicare A, B, D and suppliment plan G. Covered by Medicare no preapprovals, no network. When I priced it it was cheaper than my fehb. I know other retirees that get A, B and select an FEHB available Advantage Plan. You can get the benefits of an advantage plan without leaving FEHB.

Isnt estate planning a state specific process? You mentioned that you were based in Arizona. Does that mean you only develop plans in that state?

Many retirees believe their fehb coverage changes at age 65. That is false, but there could be a change in how you are billed as discussed in: 5 CFR Part 890 Subpart I -- Limit on Inpatient Hospital Charges, Physician Charges, and FEHB Benefit Payments. Hospitals, physicians cannot bill you more than the amount that medicare would approve, provided the hospital/physician takes medicare. You will get indirect medicare benefits by not even having medicare. Your coinsurance might even be less if you are billed at the medicare rate, which is usually lower. Its a different story if a provider is a medicare opt out.

You mentioned you have software to compare plans and cost e. g. FEP Blue Basic and FEP Blue Focus How do U get in touch?

Actual discussion doesn't begin until around 10:34. Before that, just upselling and pics of the families.

Really poor advice. Basically they are saying suspend FEHB insurance that is really good health insurance for a cheap advantage plan that is loaded with prior approvals and often a skinny network of providers. What about the married annuitant who has a spouse who needs insurance - didn't even cover, but their preferred strategy leaves the spouse on his/her own. This entire thought process about not needing Part B because you are on a premium FEHB plan is also nonsensical. Didn't know about impact of HSA (basic information) and statement that they can't help compare GEHA to BCBS basic shows a lack of knowledge about the topic.

yep, I went with part A & B with GEHA high ( get 1k back per year) , total cost for medicare + GEHA high is less then BCBS standard with same coverage prior to medicare, to me that's a no brainer

"C" is not gap. Supplements are synonimous with gap, as in Medigap. "C" is Medicare Advantage which is instead of A, B and D. Calling it a gap is confusing.
