I bought many clear stamp sets from HA...but they come with NO instructions! How am I supposed to use them if there are no instructions or examples....I might as well donate the stamps!

Would it be too thick to cut if you put release paper between the die and the card before you run it through the die cut machine? It would release from the die more easily.

If you use a bit of wax paper between the die and the card stock, it will release more easily.

It's on Amazon, they offer two sizes as ar as I know and I think they do deliver to america. It's a bit pricy but I'd like to make some of these for Hallowe'en; they'd look great in groups of various sizes by my doorstep. Thank you for sharing, Craft Obsessions!

I just use Craft spray adheseve to already cut die and never had a problem to glue it- it is fast and easy to use.

Why front and back? I thought you only put it on one side, but wanted to know if you put it on the back or front of paper if the paper is only printed on one side.

I’m trying to sort that out myself, but I think it’s because one side is to adhere down to the card, and then the other side to peel off and reveal another sticky layer to hold the flakes on.

Hi Colleen, I'd recommend any paint other than water-based as that will soak into the surface and give you a streaky finish.

Think you're missing the point, gilding flake gives a completely different look to just cutting it out of gold card.

For that matter, he could have used some liquid coating to embellish the die-cut, but THAT would NOT have blown your socks off!!! (teehee) But, seriously, the point I think he was making is that this Stick-It lends itself to TECHNIQUES, not JUST a behind-the-paper double-sided adhesive for die-cuts. For being "Creative", we often get stuck in a rut of only using our stash-stuff in ways we've seen others use it. David has just (OK...FIVE yrs ago!!) broadened our horizons. Thank you, David.

If u r trying to save money, this is an expensive way to do it! You can buy an inexpensive nonrubber backed stamp and do the clear embossed watermark technique so much easier!

Will you explain? I like saving money of course LOL> My confusion is that I have dozens of DIE shapes and have not found any stamp that looks like they do, and I would love to have the die image to emboss etc. Being able to get my die shapes to work like a stamp for less money sounds terrific! :)
