The "take us out" wasn't a warp command. It was a take us out of star dock.

its actually amazing how good some of those space ships look like the excelsior. That was 1984. Looks better than most CGI today honestly, how can that be?

"Allons-y!" Captain Tennant ordering a slingshot time-travel maneuver.
It's Captain Seven of Nine (it's not "AKA" anything, that's her name). You're basically deadnaming her. Shaw called her Hansen. She hated it. Shaw's gone now. Nobody calls her "Capt. Hansen". Rios wasn't on USS Discovery. Whoops?

Why did you put on the thumbnail someone who is not from Star Trek ???

The command of "take us out" is not the same as signaling to go to warp. It means to navigate the ship free of damage from neighboring obstructions.

I like to think Seven of Nine will say "You may proceed."

I think most of the captains have also said "Warp"/"Warp speed now"/"Go to warp" at some point or other, I know Picard, Janeway and Kirk all have. Janeway's 'normal' line was also probably "Take us to warp."

I always thought there would be an official word for this taught to all commanding officers, so as to never confuse the order given. It would make sense that would be "Engage". Having said that, I love Pikes "Hit it".
