While the 2023 Yama Mizu 18 100th anniversary tastes, in my opinion, delicious. The 2017 tastes 100% different from the 2023. The 2017 is rich with Mizunara wood fragrance and palate is more rich and silky. It tastes heavy with sandalwood which is an acquired taste. If 2017 and 2023 priced the same in Korea, get the 2017 as it is more a collector bottle. I don’t believe Suntory, due to global demand, will do another 18yr with wooden box to commemorate. I might be wrong. As for which bottle I like drinking, 2023 better than the 2017! I like Mizunara but not heavy Mizunara.

Oh, Thank you for your kind reply😁 you mean the "2017 product" is not a popular taste, but Mizunara's character is quite prominent, and the 2023 100th anniversary edition was released with collecting in mind, but it was released for the public's taste by catching the unique taste of Mizunara Cask. Where do you have this information? There are currently no plans in the public to ban old cars with combustion engines. This wouldnt be realistic, and it would hit the poor very hard. Also the production of new cars isnt that fast, exacerbated by the weakened supply chains because of Covid and the Ukraine war. By 2030 only the UK wants to ban NEW cars with combustion engines (I think Japan, too). UK isnt even in the EU anymore. Some countries decided 2035 to be the year for NEW cars to ban with combustion engines - I think Germany is one of them. France wants to ban NEW cars with combustion engines by 2040. In the EU, some cities having already bans for older cars (since the mid 2000s), most of them ban in particular older diesel cars (most of them from EURO 3 downwards), but we have also seen bans on EURO 5-Diesel cars. And downwars EURO 2 petrol cars. So I guess we will see this more often in the near future, or even for smaller cities, and maybe some day for EURO 6 diesel cars. However, at least in Germany you can avoid it with a "historic car plate". You can get these if the car is older then 30 years and if it meets some specifications. But otherwise it isnt a problem at all in the countryside. Also there are no plans for reducing the fuel flow of gas pumps in the EU. Maybe some politicians have fantasies like this, but no green party has the majority in any parlament, even if they are in a government with a coalition of other parties. I highly doubt that they will succeed with bullshit like that. I also think you missunderstood what is going on in Germany in the moment. In America "gas" is mostly refered to "petrol", or liquid fuels. But in Germany we mean actually natural gas. Germany depends very much on Russian (natural) gas. A lot of households have (natural) gas heating and the industry needs it for a lot of different processes. So there are talks about emergency plans because of the EU sanctions against Russia because of the Ukraine war. So they talk about nationalizing the energy delivery companies, so the prices dont go up and the government can control which households or which companies they want to supply (categorized by priority). Again, this is just an emergency plan, that is only theorized of what it could look like in public. This has nothing to do with cars. California had always very strict emission rules (I think they had the first rules world wide to include catalytic converters on cars?), so this is nothing new. Also there is no "emission and smoke"-crime. But obviously you will have to pay a fine if your car is manipulated in a way to increase emissions ("coal rolling"). NYC is a mess, I am wondering that anybody would dare to drive in that place. Then again the subway isnt better, lol.
