Sick strat man, I didn't think this was possible on this mission, that saves an insane amount of time, well done! I use spawn manip on my LR run but never found any strats for the other AC's. Looking forward to seeing more discoveries :)

I got to a point I was happy with in practice on this 100% but never went through with a proper recording and submission. possibly I will pick it up again but for now . .. i barely remember I'd have to rewatch my own play through lol

Always curious why the legs from remove gun emplacement aren't used. No effect on boost speed?

they are actually being used in the thumb of the video. I'll be a little more technical here tho, in AC1 boost speed has a cap that most legs can reach with the right booster (not tanks). leg speed determines non boost speed. the only set of legs that can break the speed limit are the light quads which get featured in the mid section of the game and are prominently used in the RTA speed run. hope that helps, thanks for commenting.

I actually played this and Master of the Arena (expansion of AC1 basically) not long after it came out. Laser blades were incredibly good back then

ya, even the default blade in AC1 is broken and one shots almost everything.

Constant build optimization, precise routing, impossibly accurate rockets, and you even took the time to showcase the emblem and color customization. This is everything that I could possibly want from an Armored Core TAS.

thanks, a lot of planning and effort went on for quite a while. I honestly would have liked to showcase more parts but I decided that I would compromise to try and minimize shopping/part swapping and I still think the results were very good. glad you appreciate those aspects so much!!

ya! i actually found out while testing for the TAS that there is a group of tiles you can shoot and break to fall through. and as a kid i always walked below the bridge and let the enemies take themselves out like that. i felt like it was a great way to end the first mission.

when the counter in the system menu says 100% which you can see at the very end :p it includes completing all missions, obtaining all hidden parts, and destroying some of the optional mission AC's ilke valkyrie and 9ball.

thanks!! i put a lot of time into that test cause I actually had to beat the low% standard that zinfidel published but almost everything after that is unique because the branches are so different. enjoy, it's a fun watch.
