You guys keep killing the bikes once up top. Even though it may be intentional, just be careful because it can be harmful to the clutch after a while. But keep nice bike and vid! Glad to see yall having fun!

ONE MAJOR THING If you wash the axle with water. Make sure you get the inside COMPLETELY dry. Otherwise it will rust inside and ruin the bearings. 🤦

15 horsepower on a 250cc that wights 280 pounds Thats as heavy as a 450 and it hits around 65 miles The things an anvil with wheels You are better of with the ssr 250 its only 230ish pounds and it has 25 horsepower and with a carb swap cam change it will easily hit 40 horsepower Plus suspension is compression and rebound adjustable all this and lighter weight is a great bang for your buck
@liam64882 жыл бұрын
Any advice what mods to do with a,250cc I'm after bit more power and top speed also. I have a kurz fs250 120kg 23bhp . 75mph top speed. Would like around another 4 or 5 bhp and another 5 to 10mph extra top speed be perfect
@speedyboi3492 жыл бұрын
@@liam6488 ok lectron carb is a good option You could work on the engine I forgot the name of what they cut to make more compression but yeh. It has its downsides tho like maybe you would need to work on the engine timing after that if the compression goes to high and if the bike is air cooled it could heat up stationary so oil cooler mods are a thing to fix that. I call sprockets black magic bc they can add top speed at the cost of dome low end torque but if you riding street or track and you don't need that much low end its a fair option too. Changing some things from iron to stainless will lower ur bikes weight wich gives it a bit more acceleration, helps with the over all quality of the bolts and parts you switch and also improves how easy it is to handle the bike Getting some nice exhaust will be a option but if the ones ur bike already has are decent you may just already stay with the stock ones. Work on ur carb's main jet for more gas on the high revs. Also some good air filters so it sucks air properly. Idk If I missed a few If its a two smoker work on ya flappers maybe

how do you get the brake pad the rests against the piston on the front brake in? does it just lay atop the leaf spring or do you bend it back and snap it in like the top brake pad?

Would you reccomend the apollo?
@payton57593 жыл бұрын
I would. I actually have the supermoto with the 17" front and rear rims. I took mine on soy bean fields, regular open field wide open, loose dirt, hilly tracks up and down, and practically anywhere two guysbwith dirt bikes can go in the country woods. He was on a 1974 Kawasaki F11, and me on the Apollo. We kept up with each other, even though the setup my bike had made the ride rough. Overall, supermoto definitely isn't set up for the offroad, but is still fun and manageable. If it had offroad setup like the bikes in this video, it is definitely worth the buy. The engine is a direct clone of a Honda CRF230 from the jug and piston up. Plus, the mod and maintenance groups on FB are pretty helpful.
