I don't think any of the issues here were due to the class of glider, if anything some of the situations would have been worse on a lower class glider.

@@sumaksion youre talking of strong wind days i presume? Apart from that, if he had better control and ground handling then he would be able to limit the extra movement and collapses that are the nature of higher aspect wings. And then on those windy days his wing would be rock solid. So whats your argument?? 🤔 A side note.. collapses of course still happen and everyone makes mistakes, the point is people who make a video like this have a larger than average number of "close calls", at least in my opinion. Such a video is not all that useful for learning so its simply for entertainment, to get likes.. or dislikes! Or just the odd bit of mocking.. This is the internet after all!! 🤠

AND many of the scenes shown such as failed launches, failing to abort a launch! Connecting harness incorrectly... on and on... should be learnt the easy way! In school, with pre flight checks and gradual progression! Not stepping up to a higher class wing and then finding out the hard way! Lucky man... (so far!)

@@sumaksion I was hoping i didnt need to point out the obvious and bore people with the details 🤔 frontal collapse on launch caused by not being in contact with the brakes at the key moment. Not enough weight on the risers/chest strap and not moving his feet. CLIPPING IN BACKWARDS and not finding out until attempting to launch, what a joker! Needs no explanation! You must be mad (and also as reckless as this guy) if you think this is a normal learning curve for someone already flying a C wing 🤔🤯 .. Who the hell thinks its OK to top-land at all costs with such a bad approach, why not fly by and try again like a pilot would!? He is (/has been) a danger to not only himself remember. I film my flights a lot too but could not produce such an embarrasing blooper reel. Including what ive seen around me from other pilots over the years I do not think this is your average number of mistakes made by a pilot, even in "several" years. Im suggesting going back to learn these basics on a "normal" progression wing like a B. At least that would have been a good idea for him years ago! Unless its too late now and he had enough close calls that he finally learnt to be a more concious pilot 🤞🤞

There is risk and there is risk. As long as mistakes are fairly benevolent, they are an opportunity to progress. As for the content, it has been curated over the course of several years and quite a number of hours in the air...

Danke. Wäre auch eine Möglichkeit gewesen. Aber da hätten wir von dem Plateau aus, wieder ca. 45 Minuten zurück bis zur Nordseite laufen müssen. Am besten wäre wahrscheinlich gewesen, bis zum Tunnel durchzulaufen, dort aufzusoaren und dann weiter auf die Südseite zu fliegen.
