Do you maybe have a collection of Gottschalks commercial from Fresno? This is a piece of presumably lost media and I’ve been trying to find it. It’s really important to myself as my mom is in it. The commercial aired on Fox 26 kmph and some other channels like these ones, and it aired somewhere from 1995-1997

Stephanie Edwards, that’s as california as it gets. I still remember her from the Lucky ads, but then hearing her every year once the rose parade came on. I freaking miss her on channel 5 every year. it just ain’t the same. like, I still watch, but it’s just that factor. Stephanie was to the rose parade like Al Roker is to Macy’s. just added a little something.

I was reintroduced to KVPT via HF Archive's preservation of the Station ID from I99I, literally on the same day that I found this upload of yours (April 025 of 2024), and up to now I am having trouble finding a specific piece of source material: The then~theme of KVPT is a seemingly rare track of the New Age genre, you hear it play in this variant of the ID (kzbin.info/www/bejne/nKDNemmBYrqildU&ab_channel=HFArchive) and then again with a different portion of it in your upload at 01:29:24; what I cannot confirm at this time is whether or not the track is Proprietary or In~House due to its lack of ability to find using AHA Music Finder and its relevant equivalents, if it is the such then that would make it incredibly more difficult to find and without extra help on the search the trail will ultimately run cold for a bit, which is where I hope you could come into play on this. If you or anybody else that happens to come across this comment knows the history behind this particular Station ID's track and also know if the full version is available somewhere, please hesitate none to reach out and let us know; I've personally reached out to KVPT on the matter via the Valley PBS website, but that was back in May and I have not gotten a response at all from the network, it's moments such as this where having the community at the ready truly is important and wishfully one of us can finally have this be another mystery that gets properly solved.

KMTF is now KVPT since March 1, 1990 after its call letters were changed, and the KMTF Fresno Channel 18 sign-off at 25:52 is seen, and has been the Valley's Very Own PBS Station since its April 10, 1977 sign on. The KMTF call sign was later used on a Helena, Montana TV station on Channel 10 from 1998 to 2015, its call letters were changed to the current KUHM-TV on September 1, 2015, when Montana PBS took over.

Hello, i write to you from Italy, forgive me if i bother you. I found your KZbin channel because i'm doing a long research on that platform with a very specific purpose: to find someone who has recorded north-american tv news about Madonna's tours, especially the ones from the 80s: "Virgin Tour" and "Who's That Girl Tour". I saw your amazing stuff posted on KZbin and i'm always fascinated when i see these old recordings coming from VHS and i couldn't help but contact you to ask if you can help me. Since you are a huge collector of this type of stuff, i can imagine that you have a net of contacts in the United States, with whom you can exchange material, so my question is this: between all the people you trade your recordings, have you ever heard about someone who recorded what i'm looking for? Please, if you ever know anything about this, don't hesitate to contact me, i can do very little from my country, so i'm looking for a "connection" in the United States to know where i can looking for...please :-) Thank you for your attention and sorry again if i disturbed you. Kind regards.

thank you so much for checking out my channel. so in regards to the way i accumulated my tapes, they have all either come from ebay, estate sales, or craigslist. i have no contacts with other collectors, actually, as i don't personally have much time to participate in that community. i don't recall seeing that on any of my tapes i recommend trying to join the lost media discord, that may be a good move.
