Hi guys thanks for posting l also did an in depth vid on these bikes head to head please give it a look on my KZbin Channel Caledonian Biker The extra 14 lbs feet torque on the GS defo did it for me as the winner. The GS is a weapon especially in the mid range. Cheers C.B.

FK! I have the 2023 900 Scrambler and I would like the Fat Tank....12 Ltrs is just not enough in Australia... How can I get a Fat Tank? Is it off a T100? Simple swap over? Amazing work in your bike, bloody love it! David....Adelaide....Triumph Scramblers 1200X and 900....all for the ride....

My biggest problem with the Scrambler is the tiny fuel tank. The ST1050 I bought new in 2008 could go over 200 miles on a tank of fuel. My 2024 KLR650 can go over 200 miles. My 2018 KTM 500 EXC has a desert tank, and can go over 200 miles. Put a 5 gallon (20 liter) tank on a Scrambler and I’ll buy one.

took mine off i never use it way too low i took a sharp corner once heard it scraping the ground scared me to death side stand never gone over even on the windiest days if you park it correctly and in gear should be fine that bikes not going anywhere expect if it was purposely pushed over even that needs a good amount of force for my bike

Is it expensive?......will it break down?........ Does it come with solid tyres?...... Does it hand like a pig?
@admiraljolteon634921 күн бұрын
Can be expensive, but can also be found for 7000. Fairly solid tires-recommend shinkos. No it won't break down. Very nimble lower speeds. Takes a bit more to lean at higher speeds but quite nimble. No sport bike cornering

Bikes of the past. Nice if you can afford them and the fuel. 450 cm³ - 650 cm³ is where we are looking now. My girlfriend and I toured Europe two up with camping gear the first time in 1979 on a GT550. Did it this year an a SV650. I hope it will last 10 more years. Then I'l probably downsize to 450 cm³.

Owned the triumph and the gs1300 is head and shoulders above the triumph in every department and in a straight line or round corners the bmw would murder the triumph . You're not going to get an unbiased opinion of either of these two for obvious reasons! Ps restricting the triumph to 125 mph was a mistake by triumph although it won't bother most !,

This was lacking in real world information regarding how they compared… Nothing on handling differences, ergo’s, riding comfort diffs, wind protection, rain protection, wind noise/ buffeting, breaking or acceleration… In other words, real writing impressions compared to each other. These are the two bikes I’m most interested in purchasing.

After many a GS, I’ve moved onto the 2024 S 1000 XR. A far nicer ride for me, good for a long tour and more engaging on shorter rides.
@UltimateDazzle29 күн бұрын
Looks like the abilities are similar just delivered in a slightly different fashion, the Triumph does carry a fair price advantage though when the extras are factored into the BMW I believe?

It is definitely a bit lighter than the Triumph but at 237 kg I would not go near it. At 66 I want to get around effortless and cheaply. I don't want to get over 200 kg or 28 km/l.

Nice video guys. 👍 Having bought a Triumph Street Triple RS from your Watford branch (thanks Tom!) and more recently, my BMW S1000XR from Lind at Welwyn, I can testify to the great service I have received from Lind over the years. So please keep the videos coming. And reserve me a huge discount when I inevitably buy a GS one day. 😂

Why is it no one mentions the stalling tiger at low revs? Crank made heavier on the the new 2024 models and still no one mentions it. The 1200 engine is rubbish compared the the beautiful and sporty street triple engines.

My ‘22 GT Pro did stall out on me a few times, but following a software update and a clutch bleed last year it’s never happened since. The engine has massive mid and top end shove, I took my to the South of France this year zero issues - significant price advantage over the GS and far more engaging on the open road in my opinion.

I bet she loves coming on the back given the vibes that T-plane gives off! 😅 It's an amazing bike though. I had the non-T-plane previous gen and that 1200 had the smoothest engine I've ever ridden. So good for long journeys. I rode the new 1200 in Spain on the Triumph Adventure course, that extra grunt is amazing, but I did miss the smoothness of the previous gen. That being said, I'd take the looks of the new gen over the previous any day, such a good looking bike with that daytime running light, and the extra grunt and handling definitely gives it an edge the previous gen was lacking. When Triumph finally adds adaptive cruise control I'll be all over it!

IMO most people have just one bike and the Tiger 660 with a few performance upgrades is the best of the three. If you can have a second bike I think you should just upgrade straight away to the Street triple 765RS. I have a deposit in on the new Tiger 800 sport and think this bike with a few performance upgrades will be amazing. The jury is still out until I take the 800 for a good long test ride as to whether I'll pull the trigger or not. I currently own a Tiger 660 with the performance upgrades and love it ❤ It's the most underrated bike on the road and it never leaves me wanting. But I've been telling Triumph to up the horses and they have answered with the 800 ❤

With the VIN number 0001453 that is a 1991-built bike. Triumph ran the VIN numbers sequentially, regardless of model. The model code is in the letters preceding the number. Daytona 750s were slow sellers and so it probably languished in a dealers before being sold and registered on a K plate - late 1992 or early 1993.
