I just got allocated my theme for my masters degree and I didn't get my first choice. I have relevant experience and some previous study in the area so I figured I would have a really good chance but I was one of the few that got kicked off, the other 30 got on it. I feel stupid and naive that I thought I was good enough for my desired field like I have somehow deluded myself into thinking I can actually do it when I've just been told I am not good enough. It hurts and I just want to be supported by those around me but I feel like they don't really allocate the time to treat me like I try and treat them and that hurts too. I wish it were different and they were genuinely interested in me like I am in them and it hurts that I feel so alone. I feel embarassed by my failure in my academic life and I feel empty by the lack of support I feel from those who I should count on. I feel hurt and this song feels like a mantra of someone putting there hand on my shoulder just saying 'I know, I know' over and over again. I don't need all that much. Just the knowing that someone is there that knows what I'm going through, understands how its affecting me makes it bearable. I've been very depressed at point in my bachelors and I thought I had progressed past my previous failures mentally but I am in dissapointed in myself knowing that I'm backing to feeling horrible. I know it'll get better, otherwise there is no point in trying to continue at anything. But my god it sucks in the moment. But at least things like this song gently nudge me back up when I get knocked down. Thank you for taking the time to read my thoughts.

for anyone wondering, the sample is from an unreleased song by francis and the lights, who helped work on ye and gave this sample to kanye, sadly its hard to find the sample bc the song its used in is like nowhere to be found but go to the kanye tracker and search for i know i know and u can hear the audio of a video from a stream that had it playing!

@@avationartto be fair, many other planes crashed and were not discontinued. Concorde really wasn’t a good plane at the time. It needed more work
