The Old Sava Bridge was built in 1942 by the Nazis. In 1944, when the Nazis were withdrawing, a teacher named Miladin Zaric saved the bridge by cutting the fuse in the last seconds, like in the movies. At that time, that was the only functional bridge in Belgrade. The Communists let it stay after the war. In 1985, trams were introduced over it. It was last renovated in 2008. The authorities are determined to destroy it, the opposition wants it to stay, because it has its story and is part of the history of Belgrade. By the way, Belgrade needs more bridges... not less.

What you definitely need is someone who will help you with these contents, someone who actually lives there and can explain a lot of things that you are filming... starting from old buildings, the old city center, fortresses and castles to modern projects (completed and those which are currently under construction)... I think the viewers need a lot of clarification, perhaps about the senseless graffiti on ancient and beautiful cultural monuments (which have been there since the time of the Roman Empire) or, for example, open pits ( 05:14), seemingly small things like that. Or just the simple fact that Belgrade is a city built at the mouth of two rivers, one of them is smaller (Sava river) and the other (Danube river) is the LARGEST IN CONTINENTAL EUROPE, in some parts of Belgrade it is kilometers wide. Trust me, you wouldn't want to try to "swim across it" 😁! Also, I see that there are a lot of "assumptions" in this video, and I'm sorry to tell you that, but 99% of them are not true...
