I have not watched this video yet, but I will predict that I probably composted nine out of 10 of these things no problem😅 So things I don't compost from this list are: 1. Dog/cat poo 2. Glossy paper 3. Clothing Everything else composts just fine😊😊 Although I am very picky about where I get my grass clippings from

I would be glad for some sand. Where I live it's Caliche soil. Try growing plants in that.

I made a great video on the suffocating aspect of cardboard. I would never use cardboard in my garden. No-till isn’t necessary as long as you and compost into the tilled soils. I love my pitchfork it does some amazing work that cardboard could never do. I also prefer creating a 5 year plan and cardboard doesn’t fit into the process.

i know its a low, dry stacked wall but no concerns about movement without drainage?
I have learned fresh straw bale's full of seeds. If I can move straw from neighbors decorations. They get soaked. But I throw blood meal & water them every so often. Coming spring. Less seed problems

My neighbor, a professional gardener for 30 years once told me DON'T EVER USE THAT WEED BARRIER FABRIC...it is not necessary for a nice looking garden plus that thing will not keep weeds off 100% and is a pain in the @ss if you ever decide to remove it after a couple years. A nice looking garden is well tilled soil with quality fertilizer and quality mulch....this fabric crap is not necessary and not healthy at all for your plants, shrubs, trees, etc. as it keeps the soil too dry and won't allow for proper watering. There are many products these days sold to keep weeds away....this fabric is not the way to go guaranteed.

Good morning, I was looking for a video on compost and thank you very much for all your information. It gives me great insight I liked and started following and share. As I’m looking at your video, I see your getting ready to plant something so my question is can I just put the compost right in top of where I’m going to plant? I have some risen beds that are on the ground and it’s my first time attempting to grow, but I want to make sure I’m using the compost correctly Hope to hear from you soon and thank you very much for your information. God bless.

Hi garden guy! So glad you still have this channel; just saw your video about what not to compost. I have a question about that; I hope it's ok to leave here in this video. I just weed whacked 12" buffalo grass from side of my yard that was sprayed with glysophate as recently as 3 months ago. I almost started my 1st compost pile using those clippings. (Yikes!) My question is do you happen to know if there's an amount of time after which future crops of the grass could be safely used as mulch or compost if no more poison is applied? Thank you!!🙂🙂
