So Basically you can't buy a McLaren from the dealer or factory that can't do their showroom recalls, or on the spot factory fixes to determine if it's 100% ready to roll off assembly line for sale without ironing out future problems that may occur? These McLaren engine developers may need to get their "heads" checked.

The solution to the McLaren issues is to buy an Acura NSX. Never buy an American or British car.

Sounds like you need a little Sea Foam if you are running E85. Clean up to fuel injectors / fuel lines

Yep. $52,000 parts, $40,000 labor. My dealership was new and didn't have expetience so they flew 2 techs in and put them up in a hotel for two weeks. Fortunately I had paid $7200 for an extra years warranty

that runs like complete ass. Get a tune...If its already tuned, find a new tuner. Starts and idles horrible. Also looking through the posters comment replies I can tell you arent educated on tuning blaming e85.... lol

The fact a manufacturer of racing engines decided a water thermostat that failed would stop any water flow (for the sake of a bypass hole) is ridiculous for a road car application.

McLaren 12c, 570 and 650 are excellent cars. A full pre purchase inspection by a McLaren expert and changing all the hose clips for Murray hose clips from Thorney Motorsport will ensure new owners have a wonderful owner experience. Performance, handling and ride are outstanding

It’s not that they can’t handle power it’s that the computer for the transmission hasn’t been broken yet so that can’t fully tune it

Four common issues: Power trains; electrical systems, body panels, and upholstery. Other than that everything works fine. The cigarette lighters are reliable - somewhat.
