Yes, the words of this song speak of the genuine change that happens to anyone who turns and surrenders to Christ and His free gift of salvation and unconditional love for all who hear and believe.

There's somebody out there Hurt and confused An innocent child being abused There's somebody out there Whose heart is breaking in two There's somebody out there feeling alone A husband, a wife being done wrong There's somebody out there Shattered from a broken home But there's somebody out there With arms open wide He longs to embrace you Dry the tears from your eyes He's hope for the hopeless He'll carry the burdens you bear When you don't have a prayer There's somebody out there There's somebody out there Who thought it was cool To keep taking chances thinking they'd never lose Now they're hooked on a feeling That's left them empty and fooled There's somebody out there Who can't quite decide Whether to live or whether to die They're searching for strength To get through their crisis in life But There's somebody out there With arms open wide He longs to embrace you Dry the tears from your eyes He's hope for the hopeless He'll carry the burdens you bear When you don't have a prayer There's somebody out there Yes, there's somebody out there With arms open wide He longs to embrace you Dry the tears from your eyes He's hope for the hopeless He'll carry the burdens you bear When you don't have a prayer There's somebody out there

Does anyone have more clips or videos of this band?! I’m a relative of one of the singers!
@garrisonyuri43253 жыл бұрын
@@jamesmisiaszek3107 Well, there's a very rare bootleg floating around from a big rock concert these cats played in Bulgaria, back in 1987! The Explosives were the headliners. Also on the bill was The Liam Culpepper Showtime Band (they were huge throughout Europe in those days). The opening acts were The Gutboys, and a real hardcore punk band called The Flying Assmonkeys- they could hardly play but they were entertaining- they played the entire 45 minute set dressed as chimps...except the lead singer who looked like Marty Allen with a red afro!! This show is one-of-a-kind because the Explosives did a cover of "The Clones of Dr. Funkenstein" (only time they played this tune). Sometimes this bootleg will pop up on Ebay, but it's gonna cost ya some serious green!

I met Paul Harvey some years ago. He was taller than I had expected, possessed of a sharp wit, and a sincere Christian gentleman. This has to be one of his finest stories!

@patsheryl11 жыл бұрын
Hey Jonathan. Sometimes you can find some chords at e-chords.com. Try going there and search by song title. It's usually just chords from someone who figured out how to play the song on their own and posted the chords, so they may not be perfect. I hope that helps. If you learn it and play and sing it, post it on youtube!
