Soldering with ball valve on the open position is going to cause ball valve not to shut off properly, due to solder running through! Ball valves should solder or glued on to off position!!😅

Yeah i would have trimmed the pipe down, trimmed the back of that wood finish and put the 90 fitting flush with the wall and it would have worked just fine. Only time you couldn't do that is if it were tee'd off with galvanized pipe right at the wall and the pipe was too short.

@jamess1787 had good luck with Bradford white mine is like 18 years it out lasted 2 previous Rheem. I will never go with Rheem or a o Smith. Bradford white for the win

Just screw a bolt in those plastic and hammer down gently, i never cut it with machete or hit with hammer after its stuck and wont go down deeper like it should.

Can we just take a moment and talk about how damn stupid these modern sinks are? The faucet is literally 3 inches long right above the drain that just about fits from the rear side of the basin that is almost big enough to take a shower in. Hand washing is a pain because your hands don't actually fit under the faucet but at least it looks good ig
