Genuinely think that the reason why Kildunne has had such a great season is because, in Abby Dow’s words, she’s learnt to pass. She’s always been a dangerous runner, but for a long time she was predictable because you knew she was going to run. Now, you might suspect she’ll run it and she probably will, but you’ve got to mark her supporting players because now she will pass to them, likewise she will kick. To put it simply, she’s become a more rounded player and it’s made her a better player

A well-deserved honour for Ellie Kildunne. I've seen her play on quite a few occasions and she is impressive and, sometimes, spectacular. She's incredibly strong in attack, often breaks the tackle and, given even a hint of space can be off like a rocket. Well done! I do hope though, at some point, Alex Matthews will get the real recognition she deserves. She too is a fantastic player and has had a major influence on the success of the Red Roses over many seasons. Tireless, totally committed, physical, fast and fearless. What a great player!

The red roses' match discipline has really dropped under Mitchell. They're throwing so many loose passes, forcing passes, going for passes that aren't on. I know they're looking to bring a more open attacking eliminate to their game, but it shouldn't come at the expense of their physical game or their control.

Maya Stewart, The only solo effort. Hard to give one player an accolade when more were involved!!!!
@michaelbaker74995 күн бұрын
I don't think the acalade is going to the player. It's going to the try, the question is which is the best try. You're just using the scorer to differentiate them. Ultimately, rugby is a team game. True individual tries are almost impossible, because even if all you're doing as an attacker is being there, you're still doing something.
