Do yourself a favorite, do not mess with the AILERON Those wings are defected. I have the same issue too. And other people that I No have the same issues. don't do nothing to it, leave it alone. I have over a 100 flights on mine I have a DLE35 in and it flies really Good leaving the AILERON the way they are.

Hate to say this but that's not a jet. It's a propelled water plane. Jets usually have either EDF or turbines. And they don't fly off of water. What you have here is just a regular water plane

"I didn't have enough up" You had enough up to get up in the first place, so you had enough up. You control height with throttle and speed with "up". What happened was you cut back on the throttle and tried to keep your height with "up". Up makes you go slower so you stalled. If you think I'm wrong try climbing with no throttle, or going slow in a dive.

The engine sounded really rich !!!! If you're not sure , don't take it up !
