We have been cruising with Carnival (and only Carnival) 10 to 12 years, 3 to 4 times a year. We have been dedicated to them even when COVID hit. We recently had a $3,500 cruise booked, unfortunately we were unable to get to the cruise ship due to hurricane Helene. We live in Western North Carolina and we suffered terrible devastation that prevented us from being able to take the cruise. We have tried repeatedly to get a credit for a future cruise, or use the money towards one of the other 4 cruises we have booked, every attempt has fallen on deaf ears. Airlines, hotels, and car rentals were very quick to give us our money back, Carnival basically gave us the middle finger. I find this shocking considering our status with them and the well known wide spread devastation this hurricane made across the country. I remember when their ships were floating around at sea in the dark, basically shut down due to Covid. They were begging people to help them by coming back to cruising as soon as possible, and that we did, 9 of us - all catching Covid of-course. Now it's time to give a little something back and all we get is a very cold "NO". Unfortunately we will cancel all of our future cruises and no longer cruise with Carnival.

Question- how long was the flight to Marrakesh?

One negative of not putting phone in airplane mode, your phone searching for a signal will drain the battery.

What a great episode but we need to take time and contact our elected representatives to make the FAA make changes to ensure our continued safety for air travel. I honestly would pay more for a plane ticket for safety, wider seats based on the new averages of fliers, and pay pilots who are trained to fly a plane without a computer

As usual you have no business talking about airline miles unless you are going to be truthful about them - " venezuelan money" - I have taken 3 roundtrips to Europe this year from Houston - What did it cost me? Points and just over $100 USD - NO, I did not spend $10K on my flights, I paid for my car insurance, my home Ins, My electricity on my house, my groceries etc... with my credit card that gave me points - Dinosour dude!
