how many trays that size for how many chickens? im having trouble teying to figure out how much to feed. i have 30 chickens and use 10 x14 trys. still working on it and btw great winter set up. i definitely will do this.

Loving the thought of saving money by making my own chicken feed, but every video I'm watching uses soybean meal as a protein source. Almost all soy is genetically modified and I want to avoid that in my mix. Do you have an alternative ingredient you could recommend in its place?

I've heard of putting a tiny bit of bleach in the water to avoid mold. But if you avoid it without using bleach, that'd be ideal. Do you find by not stacking them up you completely avoid mold? Also, is it rolled oats you use?
