Hello, i have a question, how good is the automated piping? I work in a marine shipyard and would like to know how effective it is for long distance routes. Would you say it’s a good feature?

After scanning the slab, we can stake out to the point in an area of concrete slab that needs attention. In the display window of the point I want to see I can see the NE and Z. How can I get the elevation display in survey ft or feet. I can only see meters displayed, even though I have my other units as feet.

I just started working on scan to bim... I used to work only with autocad and revit data. But in scan to bim There is no documents for the piping system and accessories . Its very hard to do modelling as per point to cloud many routing error and pipe fittings are joining error . Trim extend not work and sometimes align command.

Control points can be surveyed with a total station from corners of the building using resection setup. When point clouds converted to 3D model, it can be easy to adjust laser scanner coordinates to control points. So we can have an accurate model.
