I celebrate the Christian holiday of Christmas, not this fabricated holiday created by a criminal indicted for torturing black women.

Thank you, this was a very good discussion starter for our children last week. As parents we treasure sources that help reinforce the importance of examining historical context and engaging critical thinking skills in their young minds. This perfectly supplemented going to community gatherings and celebrating with fellow Black people. Much respect.

Exceptional this why I taught myself principles and I also taught my child because we still need to become more efficient as a society of our people and what was taking but should be restored glad I have culturally challenged myself over 3 decades and always honor those that was taking from us

We’re so stuck on this African American thing and that’s ok but not all brown people are African there are the aboriginal people that were here in amerika, real Africans will tell you the same so my point is we keep giving the Africans more credit when we’re actually forgetting OUR ancestors that were here

I think you can be both. Original American but evidence still shows that all the brown oldest mummies come from Africa. So you can't live out your family original ties. Fact is they don't tell the truth about skin color and how it's all tied together and it makes it confusing when they lie about so much.

I'm sorry, but you're crazy. It gets old seeing black people having to rewrite historic facts to push anti white propaganda. The truth is much more exciting and much more compelling surrounding the civil war and what blacks had to over come,. They chose to fight knowing that they could not just die, but the confederacy also wanted to take them prisoner and re-enslave the free blacks in each battle they fought. Wake up folks your being emotionally played

Does a brother online who is very detailed and in depth with his information and can prove a lot of what he's talking about with paperwork to researching in the archives Juneteenth seems to be a holiday with a white man is celebrating his Freedom From Slavery because we all have to understand black people had people as slaves they've had white people getting this history wrong cuz they've missed educated us they were our slaves they finally free themselves so a lot of white people walking around here are descendants of slaves who were owned by black slave masters

Kentucky and Delaware chose to tone down on their slavery because they are reluctantly told to be nice to their slaves, and thus they are nicer than they've ever been to their property. The 13th ammendment got rid of slavery in the US altogether.

of loathsome aspect ... potbellied, misshapen of head, snub-nosed, swarthy, dwarfish, bandy-legged, short-armed, squint-eyed, liver-lipped-a portentous monstrosity," this was said about his physical appearance. Nowhere I see skin color being mention.

Baba the raconteur? You seemed to have missed the real biggest lie of Juneteenth, the fallacious race baiting holiday instituted by the same party (democrats) who still has black America in their thrall, which is thousands of black Americans were still enslaved by the Choctaw Nation for an additional six months. This demonstrates the absurdity of Juneteenth as nothing more than an identity politics charade. We the U.S. need to move past all this flippant talk about race, which seems to revolve around the Marxist practice of labeling black Americans as perpetual victims who can’t claim the opportunities of America because of some phantom white systemic racism that lurks around every corner. In reality black Americans today have every opportunity to succeed, especially today and don’t let anyone tell you different.
