Symptoms due to pregnancy don’t start until at least 6dpo. The symptoms you had right after ovulation were just things happening to your body not due to pregnancy.

Is 13dpo to early for a positive 🤔 i got a negative today, but hoping theres still a chance 🙏
@Ketsy162 ай бұрын
As long as you don’t get your period you have a chance. However the testing and dpo depends on your cycle length and when you actually ovulated then implanted
@cey_rah7 ай бұрын
Everything you felt prior to implantation was probably the progesterone (post ovulation hormone). I find that pregnancy symptoms only happen after implantation due to the production of hcg (the actual pregnancy hormone) triggered by implantation.

The Night Swim is a great mystery/thriller. It has a podcast element which makes it a great audiobook as well. The maine theme is rape/sexual assault in a small town.

Spinal tap = needle in the spinal canal and some of the cerebrospinal fluid is taken for diagnostic purposes. So sort of an in/out procedure. Epidural = Catheter in your spinal canal also but in the epidural space and they administer an anesthetic that makes you go numb. The needle is removed but a plastic catheter stays in place so they can administer the anesthetic at different times or continuously. I'm sorry this happened to you. While traumatic but also a blessing. That's hard but, you handled it with poise and grace. ❤

“I recently finished reading this book too! I’m not an expert when it comes to literature, so I would rate this book a 3. It wasn’t the worst, and it did have potential. However, it fell short due to a lack of descriptive writing. Many aspects weren’t explained in depth, making it quite predictable. If the author had dedicated more time to using descriptive words, it could have greatly enhanced the reader’s experience. It’s a good choice for beginners, but I might have had higher expectations, perhaps influenced by the ACOTAR series, so I was slightly disappointed.

As both a reader and a writer I am exhausted by these trope-heavy, smut-centric, horrendously written "romantasies" that have no story, copy-paste characters, and middle school dialogue. Like you just KNOW that these writers have precisely one thing they want to write about (self-insert Mary Sue erotic fanfiction with racially ambiguous bad boys) but they also know they have to put a plot around it so people will buy it. Even though I know I'm going to hate this book and probably rate it very low, I'm so keen to read it. I've read the kindle sample and OH BOY. Kudos the market team, and that's where my praise ends.

Let’s see. It’s not her first book??? I read this bc it was pushed. This is a draft book without editorial work. At least that bad in every aspect. Low level prose, dialogues, idea for world building, anything. She is one of the worst writers I’ve seen in my life and here I give examples like movie books as Alien, Star Wars, anything. I read some of those too. This book is bad in writing. Plot holes too. Major ones. Logical errors. Who let this book out to get published? And I’m just talking about the writing. There is the story too. And characters. This book is the example of poor work. Btw: fantasy doesn’t explain this. Fantasy is the following: gives the author more power where the real world holds back. It’s a world for creativity. Not a place for low level things.
@Audreyreadingcorner Жыл бұрын
YES to all of this. Her writing is one thing and then the whole story is something completely different. I totally agree that it felt like a first draft!!

If you're looking for some closed door or not terribly explicit romances or romantic fiction, the following might be up your alley: To Sir With Love by Lauren Layne Passion on Park Avenue by Lauren Layne Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall (This is an M/M romance; very funny) The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren (This is a writing team. Their earlier books were pretty explicit but these later ones really aren't.) Nora Goes Off Script by Annabel Monaghan Fair as a Star by Mimi Matthews Edenbrooke by Julianne Donaldson Dial "A" for Aunties by Jesse Q. Sutanto (More madcap comedy than romance.) Very Sincerely Yours by Kerry Winfrey Book Lovers by Emily Henry Things You Save in a Fire by Katherine Center The Chai Factor by Farah Heron The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman Evie Drake Starts Over by Linda Holmes The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker Elizabeth Camden - anything by her. She's listed as a christian romance writer, but the religious aspects of her books are extremely light. The historical detail, however, is wonderful. Tiffany Girl by Deeanne Gist Maybe in Another Life by Taylor Jenkins Reid Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella Plenty more to recommend, but this list is getting too long....
