just wanted to say you did a great job on this comic. i know lots of backers dont ever respond to books they get but I always do. wasnt text lading with long talking between characters. exciting action when it arose.Vallan was "sword for hire" basically but had honor and wasnt a douche. all in all a great book and will be back for more.

I will say of all the Eric July defenders, he is the most honest one. He just flat out says he doesn't care about the comics and just wants to Stan. It's very sad that many of these Red Pill wanabe gangsters who have poor financial conditions and bad spending habits look up to this guy. Then again, Eric is one of them, except he somehow made money.
@BasedArtDepartment11 ай бұрын
EJ just successfully spun his audience from political to comics. Which is interesting, but I personally don't have a ton of interest in the Rippaverse. I think it can do it's own thing just fine, but I think Eric is flying too close to the sun. If he didn't respond to every single person online, he could probably make inroads to work with a lot of indies so both would be profitable. But that would mean he needs to swallow his pride...

I got canceled by July back in June totally torched because I mentioned FundMyComic was more secure than someone who uses plug ins because it is a hosted website and he and his fans went after FMC and I stepped in to take the damage because FMC was brand new and I lost three years of work and my promo show became a ghost town so I shut it down. He probably doesnt remember becsuse for me it was three years of work gone. For him it was Tuesday. You're right he doesnt know shit about the small creator! Thinking of starting back with my promo work shortly. Keep up the good work if you want on my channel or to host me here. Let me know.

Y HELO THAR. Sub 90s don't understand conditionals, BA. You should know this by now. I try to share every project that lands on my feed. Even the ones I don't like the look of(because I understand it may appeal to others -- tastes differ). Even if we put aside the jubilation involved in the Fiendish launch stream -- fiendish itself is a stellar read. Renie is a talented artist. I genuinely adore that book. She and Ody both have the potential to become legendary creators.

These FNT clowns became a micro Hollywood. They are shallow micro celebrities and closeted sex workers (the women among them) who prey on people with miserable lives like Sturgis. Sturgis' life would be so much better if he left these people and worked on his own life outside of KZbin.
@TransylvanianJack Жыл бұрын
It's great to see people like Andrew push back against this trend on KZbin. Put yourself in these corporations like Disney's shoes. On Twitter you have Stan accounts who say yes to everything Disney makes. On KZbin you have people who want everyone in Disney killed. Who will they listen to? I'm with EVS on this, and he's been very based these days. Our critique towards these corporations has to be educated and constructive. Or else these corporations will ignore us nerds even more. We can't have open communication with these media creators as long as the FNT clowns are there muddying the waters. How sad is it that people from Hollywood are trying to build bridges with KZbinrs, and the first person they meet is Critical Drinker?

This culture war is the new sports for nerds . maybe they feel part of the team if they support something and they feel like they doing something .on the real the rippatards i.q levels are below simple jack .so what it made money,how much was actually the comic sales,not shirts and hats or how many actually read the book and didn't just buy it for a trophy.i love comics but i stopped when the stories hot lame .i thought the rippaverse was gonna be the shit but im glad i read it first then read old stuff in my collection ,even dug out my old cyberfrog comics and found them all better than erics crap. Which was disappointing, I'll read just about anything,you got one I'll read it fo sure

Lolcow drama queens like Caanan are why Comicsgate will not endure. That is why I interact more in Iron Age these days. The IA community cares about storytelling and aren't interested in childish drama. CG is more about influencer gayness than comics.
@gregoryl.levitre9759 Жыл бұрын
The reality is that it takes a big marketing budget and/or have celebrity or influencer support to hit big numbers of Backers. Additionally you could work for the mainstream media and pretend to be indie, like Eric July does.
