Looks like the new stand just cheaped out pretending it’s preserving heritage. The stand doesn’t cover the fans properly and could have easily been extended across the full width of the side of the stadium. It also has roof support posts blocking a lot of fans view of the pitch.

😢 what a joke they demolished first Maracana a legendary stadium and replaced with a smaller and cheaper one however Delle Alpi was one of the most beautiful stadiums of Italy and they've replaced it with a even smaller and uglier stadium.

I think it's for the better. The Delle Alpi was larger but rarely filled, and bad view due to athletics track.

Juventus is football royalty the Delle Alpi was a ferocious intimidating stadium a cathedral.... Juventus should play in a Cathedral..... Atletico Madrid showed how to do it Juve should play in a stadium like the Metropolitano

@@arjanpetersen Assurdo aver fatto demolire il "Delle Alpi" classificato dall'Uefa nella stagione 96/97 come Five Stars Stadium ("Stadio a cinque stelle"), allora la massima categoria tecnica assegnata a livello confederale agli impianti calcistici. Comunque, anche lo Stadio Olimpico di Roma e lo Stadio Diego Armando Maradona hanno la pista atletica, ma non sono stati demoliti. Tutt'al più hanno bisogno di una piccola ristrutturazione.

I remember, as a Glaswegian, meeting my friend who was studying nursing at the RVI. We arranged to meet in a pub beside the stadium in the mid 90's. I will never forget this huge construction coming into view and how it dwarfed it's surroundings. Being a Celtic supporter, I was used to seeing magnificence on a grand scale, but this was still impressive for a football ground.
