So the house is not worth the price. It’s the gulf that is the reason for the price. Later you can put in walls to get rid of the open floor plan that is so overdone and a trend that dates the house to this decade. After you put in divider walls in 8 to 10 years it will much less like a shotgun house that the poor built in the 30’s and 40’s due to poverty. Don’t be a sucker and fall for this ridiculous concept. For that much money you should be able to buy a cozy house that feels like a home. With rooms and everything.

I've lived my entire 70+ years in Alabama. This may be one of the clearest examples of 'more money than sense' I've ever seen.

All that money and rehab but the front porch is pitiful and there is no entry, you just walk right into the living room. Not what one would expect for a 1.5 million dollar house.

Are you kidding? $1.4 million with ONE sink, ONE dishwasher, no sink at the "wet" bar in the kitchen. Fairhope. Are you kidding? No outside kitchen set-up. No garage.

Honestly, there is nothing “cottage-like” about this house. It looks like every other house plan in starter neighborhoods everywhere. No charm. No trees or garden! Tacky drive and stepping stones! Such a disappointment for Fairhope! Somebody needs a to study southern architecture a bit closer.

Sorry , but l prefer module kitchens , and way less space for cleaning . Nice narrating , though . Interesting house tour . But why is the toilet many times wedged in between the bulky sink and the coffin - like bathtub ? Why no wide window sills for big plants ? I love in every room a Blumenfenster ! Every house should have a guest toilet right near the front door ! Thanks anyway .

That location is really nice and the house is beautiful, but that price for that square footage is absolutely ridiculous. And this type of stuff has been happening more and more and it’s sickening. However, at least he didn’t insult us by saying it was affordable like others have done.

No way, for that much money there better be a brick paver “day” parking area, walkway and driveway, and it should be landscaped to the hilt.

If I’m not mistaken the drawers in the kitchen cabinets are dovetail which shows they’re well made. Beautiful home.

I had a friend in Fairhope. It was a pretty little town!

If you can find a similar home like this one I would be interested, Looking to move to Foley. I wish I had seen this one before it sold.
