Then u have naruto with 27 novels and naruto boruto next generations in total it has 1,014 ep with manga continuation monthly chapters One piece has 2 novels and 1,083 weekly chapters A whole lot of content for these 3 Yea new gen is better, there story and pacing is top tier, but the amount of chapters will never be like thee old gen. The sheer investment/ time u put is different, I love overlord a new gen anime, but it’s been years since I got content so it’s forgotten, while these 3 shonen live rent free as theres always more new content. Hells paradise is a great example u finish it man is it a great story but it’s been months, the anime is great as it’s brining me back but as for new content 🤷‍♂️ Vs chainsawman a new gen has came back after its break with weekly chapters making it so u stay wanting more

Also about the predictability that's more a dnd thing than a scripted story telling thing, while most writers tend to stay away from tropes, dnd since it's not a written story leans into them hard, so u get those moment where u can see something coming, but the journey getting there is so fun that u dont mind it ;) Great reaction toshi

The killbox is a fan favorite episode from the stream and while some things are changed they did it soooo good, s2e10 is my favorite ep of the animated series so far. :)

In the live stream if it's not the main cast's characters it was the dm doing all the other characters, now there are certain important npcs that they invited guest players to play, for instance Kash (friend of the cast Will Friedell- Eric Mathews Boy Meets World, Terry Mcginnis Batman Beyond) and Zharah (friend of the cast and powerhouse voice director Mary Elizabeth Mcglynn) are two such characters voiced and played by the same ppl just like the main cast.

The cast has said the aim is for 5 seasons from both campaigns as of right now CR has a 1st look film deal with amazon and up to season 3 greenlit for LOVM, and the 1st season of Mighty Nien... it's so unreal this all came from a home dnd game, I wish them all the success :)
