Hi! I was looking for a solution and came across this channel, so maybe you can help me. I have the same pump on my Epson L800 Chinese UV printer. The problem is that the silicone tube coming out of the vacuum pump keeps getting pulled out of the plastic connector, and as a result, my white ink isn't working properly. Do you have a solution for this? Should I glue the silicone tube to the plastic part, or do you have another suggestion? I would really appreciate your help. Thank you in advance!

I would highly recommend using a product called BONDIC, it was on shark tank. Just make sure that what you use it on is dry first. It has worked amazing for me when I'm in a bind and have no other way of repairing something with a part because I'm about to catch a flight the next day and can't finish the job. I can't speak more highly of a product. Its saved me out of lots of jams and saved a ton of money!

Sorry for getting back to you late.... Yes they are all the same other than the odd one. That odd one controls black ink and also white if using for DTG.

Hi Anthony and thanks for this video! I unfortunately bought a second hand 44" Epson Stylus Pro 9900. Initially the only issue was the orange and green colors clogged, it still printed and gave nozzle checks, although poor ones, minus those 2 colors. It had been sitting for about 6 months since the owner passed away. I also bought new ink and refillable ink cartridges from Ink Owl. Knowing nothing about these printers, I turned to youtube for everything. I eventually replaced the damper & the printhead. I charged the ink lines no problem. Ran the power clean to ensure enough pressure to fill the lines, printhead, etc. Now it will not print anything, although it thinks it is, the printhead is moving, I have no errors. Now initially I did leave the printhead off of the capping station for around a week or so as 1 video said it may take that long to soak the printhead. Could that have caused the capping station to dry out, clogging it and that's why I'm getting no ink to the printhead? I manually pulled ink thru the dampers, they are all fine, I manually gently pushed ink thru each nozzle head of the printhead with paper towel on the back side, all the colors came thru no problem. On a nozzle check right after I did that, it did print out the colors I had pushed thru, then went blank again when the ink ran out. I contacted Epson a hundred times, they say they think it is the pressurization, but they didn't know and I needed a tech. Basically no help. There is only 1 tech in my entire province (BC, Canada) and he has been giving me the runaround for like 3 months saying he is coming to my town and he just doesn't. I have now sunk so much money into this thing, I cannot afford for it not to work. My art business is halted, I do not know what to do . Can you help me? Any ideas, advice? Thanks Anthony.

@1314mexican usually you have to lower your temperature when pressing and curing also but there's a fine balance and ink and printer type really make a difference. Higher viscosity inks cure quick so you can probably go lower and longer to avoid scorching or hang dry the pretreat or do a combo of using a conveyor and heat press after it's 80% dry in a conveyor

@@1314mexican I would stay at 325F or below to press and split up the presses, maybe 3 presses at 15 seconds each and only use parchment paper, anything else might transfer the dark part of the paper onto the garment. Curing you might need to be under 335 for 2 minutes. You might be able to split that up too but you'll need to wash test after if you split up the cure because normally the ink needs to cure without a split. You could also DTF Print too.

I did leave it for 2 weeks, I didnt print. But it should be able to do havy head cleaning but it doesnt want to necause it says to change the catriges. I changed it and it is the same. It is clogged up ? Yes?

Sorry but the solution won't work with UV or UV DTF inks unfortunately. We might work on a solution but for now we are just focusing on DTG and DTF inks.

What tubing is used in these machines? Thinking about just replacing it all... bought a used machine and the lines are caked in dried salt or pretreat.... feeling a little defeated as I can't find a tech in my area nor many videos online for how to really disassemble and clean these units to "restore" them.

Don't know sizing but if the machine is that bad you could replace all the lines or clean them out with hot distilled water but your pump and solenoids will definitely need to be replaced. Possibly the valve that switches from the jugs if you have the 4/IV. If you need help we have a paid support plan that can help you to understand the machine. Its a really simple machine once you learn how it works.

So I did this, and the wet cap solution retracted back into my dampers when I filled it up all the way. Any idea how I can keep this from happening? Just put in less solution?

It might depend on your system but there are clips to prevent that from happening. The clips go onto the ink line and stop back flow

This piece only comes off by an allen screw and wrench that you'll need to take off the top piece that connects to the solenoid. Nothing else can be or should be taken off.

Hi Anthony , maybe you can help me, i have an 3800 converted to dtf and from day to another stop printing, like not printing nothing blank page, yesterday i got some problem with my cyan so i suck the damper to check everything but not helps after i do a reverse flush, and some normal headcleanings from software, and then i got only blank page printing, no ink come out from printhead because i cant see any ink in cap top, so the problem its coming from pump, or the head was fired? thanks for your answer

It can be a lot of different problems. The first thing to check is your cartridges, always carry some on hand so you can see if when you have a major problem that is the issue. Also, its a pressurized system so if you take a syringe to a damper it will not allow any suction of ink to flow because there is a pressure regulator in the system so ink will not come out willingly. It could damage the damper unit and cause it to malfunction. A good idea would be to change the pump and cap assembly though. I think your damper unit has malfunctioned though.

@@RSPersonalizedby not sure to be honest as far as new printers goes. If ink comes out of the head that is a good sign, even one drop because if not then a fuse is blown on the motherboard

@@RSPersonalizedby Its a high possibility that the fuse needs to be repaired. If any solution got on any cables or if the printer was worked on while plugged in with a USB or Electrical cord that can happen too.

It's mainly open options available to the person using the RIP. Maybe a difference in color profile too because each profile from each manufacturer is made by a different person so it may have some variances

You can't pull ink through the dampers, you can only pull ink by an ink charge or head cleaning unfortunately. No problem and you're welcome :)

After cleaning the ink supply line and dampers and assembling the entire system, when starting, the ink does not reach the dampers... the compressor works, you can see how the ink is trying to pass the line, but something does not allow it to reach the dampers... after this, the printer seems to freeze and does nothing else.... please tell me what this could be..??? How to pump ink into the dampers again?

each printer is different, we don't really recommend doing this on other printers that are not for dtg unless its a purpose built dtf printer. No solution should be put anywhere near any electronic components

Cleaning the bottom of the nozzle is not recommended by the manufacture it can lead to deviation of the spray nozzle.

True, stainless is the best for this option and its up to the user to determine whether the nozzle is bad. Most times we go 8 months+ without having to change nozzles even with a brush

Hi I have a problem with my epson l1800, impossible to load the ink in the print head, I have used all the possible options. the head is not clogged it is new, the printing pad has been replaced and everything dies when I put product on the printing pad. No pipes are clogged or damped, everything has been checked.if someone can help me i am at the end of this printer

it sounds like you have a blown fuse on the motherboard. I would take the printer to a computer repair shop and let them replace. Its on the bottom side of the mainboard

@@AnthonyCreekTV the motherboard is new, the old one had burnt out. Are you talking about fuse F1 on the motherboard? fuse F1 is used to print, right? I managed to get some ink in the head using a pump outside the printer but when I use the pump of the printer nothing comes out, I don't really understand where can come the problem.

I am in the process of re-assembling my 3880 after cleaning the printhead. What I want to know is; do I need to make a "Space Making Jig," to make sure all lines are in alignment in the printhead and IC cable as I reassemble? Thanks for your indulging me on this question. Hi, I still have a question for you, epson 3880, can you tell me why it doesn't print at 2800ppi, only a large soft and clear halo comes out, instead at 1440 the image is defined, but rather clear. test print is ok. Thanks for the reply, Merry Christmas from Italy.

You're going to have to probably inspect your head cables or any me thing that might be on the head area itself. Any ink on the cables or on the head port where the cables get inserted will cause a problem

But if I would have a tutorial of the results in t-shirt of every settings it would be grate!

Hi Anthony, I'm Nenad, I have a Tex jet advanced dtg, it shows error 131b when it starts to print, it stops halfway, returns the head to its initial state, pulls the board in and shows error 131b, I would be grateful if you could tell me what could be the problem...thanks in advance ...greeting

Hi Nenad, this error means the head is overheating. You might want to check your ribbon cables to see if they are burned or discolored, if not then replace the head.

Im getting inconsistent nozzle checks ! Can u please show where to clean the head and how to clean the cap i like that u showed how it sit and i can actually see the head ! How do u replace the pump or cap and the dampers just incase and what should u change first . I cleaned my head and cap but i dont know when i have to change the cap how do i know its dirty !?? Also can i use alcohol or does it only have to be solvent i dont have that right now. Im new and im getting inconsistent nozzle checks and some horizontal banding on certain colors

not sure with that model printer. I would unplug the usb and power cord and see how it comes out or give it a try. You have 2 options; 1. Limp along and eventually problem gets worse or 2. Give it a shot and try to replace and fix it. Option 2 is not what everyone wants to do but it builds confidence and the outcome is much better than option 1. With option 1 the printer will eventually stop working so you have nothing to lose.
