Very nice! Happen to know your total cost of all the upgrades?
@hellomynameismikey2 ай бұрын
All in, I’m currently at $5400 in add on’s, but I’ve also added new Cush hub rims and an oil cooler since this video, that added another $1500. So this video with everything you see is $3900 in upgrades. 😂

Thanks! It’s all wolfman luggage, handmade in Colorado. This is the 2018 model luggage pack.

Does it do it in camera or do you have to slow it down in post ?
@hellomynameismikey3 ай бұрын
It doesn’t play back slow motion in camera at the slowest speed but if you use the Nikon app and download it to your phone, it comes through the same an a slow motion iPhone video, you can control the speed ramping and manage whether the entire video is slow motion or just a specific part.

So yes and no. It’s pretty easy on iPhone and file sizes aren’t too large.

I think the aftermarket taillight is ugly, the original one looks nicer and legitimate🙂, but then, it’s YOUR bike, so if it’s nice to you and that’s what matters 🙂

I had one back in the early 90s and rode it hard for maybe 5-6 years then sold it, never did much to it because I rode it in the dirt mostly, now I just bought a 2024 and love it , kinda of funny it’s the same as my older one just different colors, I’ll probably ride this on the street more than dirt but it’s nice to be able to do both, nice ride you have enjoy it and thanks for the video

Nice bike. But I really don't understand why people put their phone on the handlebars/bike. If u crash, and your bike ends up far away from you and you are injured and can't get to your bike and call for help? Nope, I keep my phone on me, and use a GPS on the handlebars..

Thinking about those travel pegs - any safety issues like digging into ruts or tripping you up at all? Any sub frame support?
@hellomynameismikey10 ай бұрын
Absolutely love them. More than just stretching my legs out, they have actually added a ton of protection for bike drops, which sadly I’ve done a lot of on single trials when loaded up. No sub frame support on mine, I mounted them to my steel skid plate and so far so good.

The only thing I did was added a happy trails rack system, this bolts directly onto the bike and gives it added structural integrity. So far so good.

@@hellomynameismikey People have balls of steel when they're anonymous. Real question: May have been mentioned above, if so I missed it - what was the total weight change once you added everything? Creeping toward 375 or greater I imagine? Nice work by the way.
@hellomynameismikey9 ай бұрын
@@NorthvilleBasements Ha, right? I have never officially weighed but the only things I stripped were the fairings, metal tank, smog kit, and battery. I imagine the new 6 gallon tank fully topped offsets all of that completely. The stock bike is 349 wet, I'm guessing fully gassed up I'm well over 375. I need to do an update video as I've done a lot more since, I would guess over 400lbs fully packed with camp gear.

@hellomynameismikey Жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply. I did not replace the fuse box. I just added this in addition and I must say for the 2-3 times I’ve needed it, it’s really done it’s job nicely. I’ve overloaded it a couple times on bigger rides charging devices while riding and all I’ve had to do is restart the bike if I ever trip the breaker system.
